I expect that I'll be the 1st overall pick, unless there are drastic changes in the DSFL. Colorado look likely to have the #1OA, and WR is still a hole for them so I could slot into their team very nicely. NOLA are only 1.5 wins ahead, though, and are also thin at WR.
Ultimately, I'd like to land on a team where I can have an immediate impact and play a prominent role in the offense. Teams such as Baltimore, San Jose, and Orange County have established receiving corps that, while nearing regressionn, are still powerhouses in the NSFL and will remain to be for some seasons yet.
Josh Garden is an obvious role model. Despite his absence, he's still clearly a top receiver. Westfield and Cook are phenomenal receivers as well, though both are on quite strong teams. Cook came from SJS, of course, and looking at the SaberCats now, I have to admire what Jackson and Weston have achieved in what has historically been a losing team. A mould of those top 5 guys is what I'm looking to become.
I have loved every minute of my time in KC. @AzhekAhriman and @124715 have been so supportive since day 1. The team and culture they've put together is phenomenal. The vibe around the LR has been so great to experience, and it was no different during our re-sim loss and 1 - 2 start than it is now in the middle of a 6-game winning streak. The defense plays for the offense, the offense for the defense, and we all highlight each other's performances and encourage one another to keep improving. As a result, I'm motivated every day to be active and improve as a player so that I don't let me teammates down.
Despite the margins in some games, every week feels like it could be anyone coming out on top. I never feel 100% confident going into a game, home field or not, and I love it. It just motivates me more to make sure I'm the best I can be and have the best opportunity to make a play on gameday.
KC win their first Ultimini in a game that mirrors today's: defensive battle for 90% then we pull away toward the end.
The SaberCats' year finishes with Liberty (H), Liberty (A), Hawks (H), Second Line (A), Otters (H), Outlaws (H).
If the Otters can survive away games against Hawks and the Liberty, I think there's a good chance the Ultimus comes down to the week 13 matchup against the SaberCats. Whoever sits atop the ASFC wins the Ultimus in my opinion.
So far so good, but my ISP says I might be due for a loss of service some time around the start of S7.
