Hey guys,
I know it's only been a few days since we flew out, but I felt compelled to write to you guys.
The team hired a psychologist to try and help me work through my personal issues. I feel like he's trying to find the hear to of my problems, but I already know what they are so I don't think it's going to help. People are acting like I'm crazy for not wanting to leave you guys, but it's not big deal I guess. We'll be going into the draft and playing together soon, just like you guys promised.
You were right though, other than our practices, this does seem like another Spring Break. I've been hitting the beach and sleeping in really nice hotels. There are a lot of really beautiful girls here, but honestly seeing them just makes me miss Taylor (Chad's girlfriend who goes to Cornell). I think I'll fly up to see her soon, maybe we can all take a trip back to New York to see mom and dad, eh?
It looks like our teams might be playing each other in the playoffs. Gonna be an exciting game to watch! My GM is being real cool about not playing in those games, and he really seems to be interested in getting all of us next season. Let me know how you guys feel about Tijuana. I could see us staying here for a while.
I'm pretty excited to play my first DSFL game, but it's going to be real weird not having you guys on the field with me to have my back. I've always known they you're both there in case things get dicey. Here's the real weird thing. I bet my teammates are real nice guys and I've been doing my best to get to know them, but there are only five of them! Other than that we practice with literal robots. And yeah, they're pretty good at football, it's a wonder they can play. But I have to say, this league is bizarre... I hope we made the right call joining the DSFL/NSFL instead of going to the NFL...
