[/div]
Skip Palmer: Welcome to the Kay 1035 sports with your host me, Skip Palmer and we are joined by special guest, Otters newest linebacker, Mason Brown. Today we’ll be talking about a lot of big news that have came up. So without further ado let's get to the show. The first big news that has came across the us is that Mark Grau going against what he said at the combine, has signed a contract with the Colorado Yeti. For those of you who don’t know what when down, Miller went first and Grau, after looking at all of the mocks, thought he would go 3 overall to the Otters, but the Otters ended up taking cornerback Vladimir Fyodorovich. Then the Yeti took Grau and Grau stated that he would not be playing in a Yeti uniform, because he didn’t want to be a wide receiver three. So Mason what are your thoughts and have you spoke with Mark lately.
Mason Brown: Yes I have spoke to Mark and he is very embarrassed that he let his emotions get to him and was not thinking clearly. I am so happy that he was able to get it worked out with Yeti, but this raises some flags for Yeti, is Mark really as dedicated to them now? Based on what I have heard it is a yes. I do have (chuckles) some history with being a little too open about who I want to play for and I hope at first what I said about Mememastero influenced Mark’s decision at all that night or what? But I have started to be a little bit more open about Yeti as it has progressed and really envy Mememastero and what he has done and really hope he can turn a really young team around.
SP: (Chuckles) yeah a put an emphasis on a little too open. Yeah you brought up some great points next news. Yeti QB Perino has been in an accident and has gotten bionic body parts, and gained a crap ton of weight and is now a Defensive Tackle, do you think his bionics are in some cases are overpowered and should the NSFL Head Officers step in and run some test to see if they are in fact OP?
MB: First off it is sad what happen to Perino but that opens the door wide open for Ryan Applehort to take over an already young offense. (Chuckles) I don’t really know what to think about the bionics. They could be OP and in other cases they aren’t really...
SP: Like what cases?
MB: Ah, he really could not have done anything to stop this from happening, besides slowing way the hell down. I also think it is really interesting for a QB to transfer to defensive tackle and I can not wait to see how he transfers, hopefully he performs better at defensive tackle than at quarterback but that is easy to do.
Both: (Laughing)
SP still chuckling: More right after this break.
A word from our sponsors, have you ever experienced horrible muscle or joint pain, but all of the other brands don’t work, now introducing the new pain relieving cream made by Hotty Ice. It goes on hot to relax the muscles and then get cold to soothe the muscles. It is backed by NSFL Linebacker Mason Brown.
SP: Welcome back to Kay 1035 sports with your host Skip Palmer. Right now we are talking to former Python and now Otter linebacker Mason Brown. He has answered some questions for us and now we are going to ask him some more. So Mason what do you think about Boss Tweed switching to Linebacker.
MB: I understand it in as a player view because this league as we all know is becoming very reliant on the pass and have inched away from running the ball. But as an organization this had to be a heart break they traded for the stu runningback and now they are getting a Linebacker. Linebacker are a huge need in this league and I also understand that in both of their perspectives, but I feel like he could’ve been a huge asset to the team.
SP: Yeah it surprised me too. Next question it seems like you are holding out on the Otters. Do you have a problems with their GMs to? (Starts to chuckle)
MB: (Laughs) No I have been very open to them and it was just Saturday when the sent me a contract offer, I however did not like how little security I had for Season 8 so I sent him a counter then I got a counter-counter offer and I liked to so I agreed to the terms. Right after that (chuckles) my friend Zach Skinner told me that I was low balled and then I explained that I was averaging 4 million a year when most rookies are averaging 3 million a year. Plus I want to have assets around me so we can continue to thrive as an organization.
SP: Man this guy knows how to talk. First answering the who do you dislike the most question and then worrying about the team as a whole verus as a player. Next question are you going to be sent down back to the Pythons for Season 7?
MB: Yes I specifically asked to be sent down right after they drafted me.
SP: How do you see the Pythons season going to year with Last years co gm PFTN running the show with the help of former Yeti GM Daybe?
MB: I feel like with McCoy, Grau and Gore on offense we got a great 3 headed monster right there, plus our defense with Skinner, Me, and Harrison we should be the best team in the DSFL and should have the best defense in the league. I am promising all of the Pythons fans out there we will return to the Ultimus and we will bring it back home.
SP: Well that is all we got time for. Stay tuned for later in the week when Mason gives the Play by Play recap of the Otters and Pythons Preseason games and next week when he gives us his season predictions.
MB: Thanks for having me it is always a pleasure.
