Mason Brown is coming off of a certainly a defensive rookie of the year performance, but I believe he could've done more in this season. He started off the season slow and for whatever reason started to put up some big games and got himself pretty far up on people's lists for Defensive Rookie of the Year. But a lot of people are asking themselves a lot of questions about this kid out of Colorado State University. Some of those questions are just how good is this kid? Can he top his rookie season? Will he get the sophomore blues? And are we watching a first ballot hall of famer being produced right in front of us? I can not answer most of those questions but I would like you to sit back and read through every play Mason made on the ball in the 8th season of the NSFL and his Rookie season.

Mason Brown did not get to the ball at all in his first quarter of his NSFL career, but he was able to put pressure on the Baltimore Hawks' quarterback, King Bronko, and lock down Hawks wide receiver, John Wachter.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Quarter 2:[/div]
Mason Brown was able to get his first NSFL batted pass on the 2nd play of the quarter. King dropped back and threw a line drive for Wachter and Brown was able to brake it up with his middle and ring fingertips on third down. Mason then got his first NSFL tackle, 13 plays later, when he ran down a scrambling King Bronko. King dropped back saw Brown blitzing off the weak side and no one was open so he takes off and gets 7 yards before be in is able to run him down. His next tackle came on a weak off tackle run by Reg Macworthy, who got to the line before Mason Brown was able to fill the hole and stop him for no gain.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Quarter 3:[/div]
Mason did not wait long to get a tackle in tbe third quarter. On the Outlaws' 4th play of the quarter they gave it to Reg Mackworthy, who broke it off for a first down and some before Brown ran him down.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Quarter 4:[/div]
Mason Brown's next tackle came off of a 2 yard dump pass to John Wachter, who was instantaneously (oh big word) brought down by Brown to force them to a 3rd and 9. Mason got his first NSFL sack on a 3rd and three when Angus Winchester scared him to the keft side if the field where Brown clicked in his first sack of his Career. Now the Outlawd were just fighting for points being it was 47 to 10 with a minute left and the Otters defense was showing no mercey and on 4th and 4 Brown git to the ball once more when King Bronko try to lob the oass over him to Wachter but Brown stuck his hand up at last minute and broke up the pass.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]In conclusion:[/div]
Mason Brown did not have the best rookie opener but he made some great plays at the right moments and really progressed through out the season.
P.S. I was going to write the whole season but I did not want to type that much on mobile this was hell itself.
