Baltimore Hawks LB Kurt Hendrix led his team to a 16 - 9 win over the Otters. Hendrix led the way with 14 tackles. He also forced a fumble and deflected a pass while keeping the Otters offense out of the endzone.

The electric Yellowknife Wraiths wide receiver Josh Garden lit up the stat sheet against the Colorado Yeti. Garden caught six passes for 124 yards. One of which was a 13 yard touchdown. Garden also contributed in the return game adding 65 more yards. Which helped the Wraiths win the field position battle en route to defeating the Yeti, 17 to 9.

In a shootout between the San Jose Sabercats and the Arizona Outlaws, Jameis Christ turned in an excellent performance. While only completing 54% of his passes, he made the most of the ones that were caught, throwing for 243 yards and 3 touchdowns. Christ also didn’t turn the football over as the Sabercats outlasted the Outlaws, 36 to 26.

The best kicking performance of the preseason belongs to Outlaws kicker, Adrienne Nugent. Nugent made all six kicks attempted on the day. This includes both extra points and four field goals, the longest of which being a 54 yard bomb.
Week 4

Jaylon Lee, linebacker for the Arizona Outlaws, had was lowering the boom all day against the Baltimore Hawks. Lee recorded 11 tackles, one of which was a sack that resulted in a safety. Despite Lee’s outstanding defensive performance, the Hawks won 9 - 8 after a late fourth quarter field goal.

Running Back Vick Bowers Jr. of the San Jose Sabercats eclipsed the 100 yard mark and added a touchdown. The Sabercats defense is what allowed them to sneak by the Colorado Yeti 15-13 though. Defensive tackle Bert Metas came up big in the middle of that defensive line. Metas sacked Yeti QB Logan Noble twice, once for a safety. However, undoubtedly the MVP of the game was Sabercats linebacker Alexander Selich. Selich had a great all around game, piling up nine tackles and a sack. He was also a force in pass defense, knocking away four passes and intercepting two more. Some are calling Selich’s performance the best defensive performance of the preseason.

In the final game of the preseason the Yellowknife Wraiths defense showed how dangerous they can be. Cornerback Dick Cutter had one of the biggest plays of the game. Late in the 3rd quarter of a close game, Cutter intercepted Ethan Hunt’s pass and returned it 20 yards for a touchdown. Cutter was also able disrupt three additional passes over the course of the game. Linebacker Lindarius Shelton compiled 12 tackles and recovered a fumble. Not to be outdone by Cutter, Shelton also took the fumble 15 yards to the house for six.
