S1 Colorado Yeti Award Night[/div]

Welcome to the S1 Colorado Yeti Awards Night. In the wake of our devastating performance against the Arizona Outlaws tonight, I thought it best to give our players something to cheer about. I also want to steal the spotlight from the Outlaws for a second because they're going to be boasting about being champs for the next month and a half of S2 (and they fully deserve to be able too). Me and @`incitehysteria` started this season with a mixed group of SHL Veterans and sim league rookies taking to our ranks. The diversity of our roster is what gave us the initial kick start to do some damage this year, and we didn't disappoint when we took a 6-1 first half of the season.
This group of players have developed and thrived in Colorado this season, and the management team here (which has grown behind the scenes) has stepped up and tried to make Colorado as welcoming a place as possible. We had a couple of members step up and really grab the reigns here this season, with their leadership skills and dedication to the league, which is why I'm proud to announce our first award, the Colorado Yeti Leadership Award and this season's winner (despite finishing second in the team vote behind our two GM's who tied) who is Philippe Carter (@enigmatic)!
Leadership Award - Philippe Carter
Eni had a great season this year. They really stepped up and took on a leadership role with this time, providing quiet support all season long and not so quiet support after being named a Mini-GM and participating in our management board discussions. I still may not be one hundred percent certain if Eni is a girl or guy, mostly due to me reading somewhere they're a girl, but that's beside the point. Your S1 Leadership Award winner!
Our second award for the night will be awarded to the player who most showed dedication to the site as a member and to the organization as a team mate. This year, the Colorado Yeti Dedication & Service Award will be handed to none other than myself, Logan Noble (@Noble).
Dedication Award - Logan Noble
Noble joined the league as soon as he heard it existed in a chance happening while taking a brief pit stop in his old stomping grounds of the SHL. He saw a post, clicked the link, and immediately applied to be one of the starting GM's. He did not get the role, and instead became Co-Gm of the Colorado Yeti. Soon after, he took on a role as Head Updater for the league, became a Player Progression Assistant, helped get Fantasy Leagues off the ground, and created the "Top 50 Players of Today" semi-official segment. Also this whole article wouldn't exist if he hadn't been bored at the lake and made some polls.
The third award of the night is to recognize the player who made the biggest impact from the defensive end of the field this season. For most people, this will be an obvious award, so I'll get right into announcing it. The S1 Colorado Yeti Defensive POTY recipient is none other than star linebacker Jonathan Saint (@jparks98)!
Defensive POTY - Jonathan Saint
Jparks has been an invaluable member of our team, contributing in locker room discussion, discord chatting, spreading of memes, and mostly, tackling imaginary football players. This season, Saint put up outstanding numbers in sacks and had a great season at tackles too, making him one of the most accomplished defensive players in the entire league this season. He's up in the votes to possibly win league wide Defensive MVP this season, and he more than deserves it.
The final award of this event will be the counterpart to our last one, recognizing the player who makes the biggest impact on the offensive side of the game. This was a close fought battle, oddly enough between the team's kicker/punter and it's quarterback. In the end the hyper empowered arm of a quarterback who likely spent hours alone in his room masturbating because he was too ugly to get a girlfriend took the W. Your S1 Colorado Yeti Offensive POTY is the team's starting quarterback, Logan Noble (@Noble)!
Offensive POTY - Logan Noble
Noble had a great debut season for the Yeti, posting stellar stats in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and completion percentage. As well, his commitment to the team made him a valuable asset. Noble is a shoe in for the NSFC All-Pro team and has been featured on at least one ballot for the Positional Award at QB.
Thank you for tuning in and please enjoy your night folks! Here's to S2
