Nowhere in the rule does it say 3 FULL seasons

This is correct. We've been discussing it in HO and have decided not to change the wording of the rule.

We debated making it say three full seasons but have come to agreement (mostly) that three consecutive seasons is fair, even if one isn't a full season. I say "mostly" because not everyone had chimed in yet, which is why we hadn't reached out to Hunt or San Jose yet.
