…His Winter Coats
It is with a heavy heart that Jayce Tuck has decided that the cold is not great for his long-term health as a player. Considering his advanced age, Jayce has decided to leave Canada in search of warmer locations.
I want to thank the entire Yellowknife organization for taking Jayce and all of his baggage in and rolling with the punches. It was a hell of a roller coaster. The locker room is full of some of the best groups of guys I have had the pleasure of shooting the shit with and I wish them nothing but the best going forward. If people are on the fence about joining one team or another, Yellowknife has nothing but my highest praise. It feels wrong that the first team I am leaving in free agency is this one, but I am glad we were able to bring an Ultimus trophy to Yellowknife.
I want to give a special shout out to @Bzerkap ! I hope I was worth that first round pick you traded awhile back. Keep doing what you’re doing man.
And with that, I am excited for my next chapter….

To the other teams that reached out, some of you drove a hard bargain and I’m sorry we couldn’t make it happen.
