'Adams is the second best QB, but he will suffice'
'Shawn Brady is the best quarterback in this draft'
'Christian Adams doesn't look like he'll last long'
Those were the words of many media pundits heading into the National Simulation Football League's second-ever draft. Although many believed that the quarterback position was completely full for each of the eight teams, many people still had their words about Christian Adams, who did not speak much from his declaration to his draft night.
Many people believed that the silence in Adams was a major flaw in his personality, and doubts started to creep in about his overall ability as a quarterback. Many people, as well as team representatives, were asking if he would perhaps change positions once he was drafted, simply due to the fact that they believe he would be happier playing instead of waiting on the bench. Adams stayed true to himself, however, and told many people that he would be sticking with the quarterback position.
'It's the only position I've ever played' said the young new San Jose SaberCat, who is expected to be the backup to Ethan Hunt to begin the season. 'You tell me to play another position, that's like asking a big man in basketball to play point guard. It's gonna take time to develop whole new abilities.

Adams found himself standing out in the NSFL Draft Combine with his unorthodox strength, and ability to throw the long pass with consistency.[/div]
Adams believes that his persistence at staying a quarterback caused many teams to change their opinions on him, especially with teams who have marquee named quarterbacks on their team. 'I told them straight up that I wasn't going to play safety, or corner, or wideout. I will be drafted as a quarterback, I will play as a quarterback'.
Adams wasn't quite the 'standout talent' over in Ohio State, but he did his job during his 2-year tenure with the Buckeyes. His 6 touchdown performance against Michigan State still stands out as his best game thus far. Adams had an up-and-down Prospect Tournament, appearing in only 3 games. However, he had a statistically better season than the other quarterbacks in the draft class. 'I felt good coming in. The boys I played with in the Prospect Games let me ease into this team really good, and I felt like the team we had did pretty good.'
However, Adams was not entirely happy with how things went. 'I just don't like how [The Media] were already shutting me down, and saying that I won't amount to much'. Once coming in with a parody article, entitled 'Face the Facts', Adams told the media that he was facing 'a lot of disrespect from know-it-all experts', after he was the second quarterback picked in the draft. 'I should have been the first quarterback picked, period. The fact that Shawn Brady, a guy who threw a resume out there, and nothing else, got picked before me was a little disheartening'. Adams continued on, saying that he believes people got overhyped by Brady's ability, and didn't see the work that Adams did off-camera. 'It's whatever, man. Teams will regret passing on me eventually'.
With the draft now over, and Mini Camps and Training Camps underway, the one face to recognize over the rest could be 50th overall pick Christian Adams.
