With us well underway in the 2nd full season of the NSFL here is your first update of the Season 3 class, and how it shaping up, We will have more on this class soon
Iyah Blewitt – K/P – 98 TPE
- The man to beat for sheer growth right now. Being late to the Season 2 draft by a single day, this Season 3 hopeful comes in with guns a blazing. Already making his presence know league wide, Blewitt stands ready to take a starting role. Already grabbing the main spot on the Legions roster as a waivers pick up, one can only wonder how much more prepared this player will be once the draft floor opens. Working on all aspects of his game (Speed – Agility – Intelligence – Endurance) while focusing on the most important ones (Kick Power and Accuracy) he is setting himself up a pretty impressive resume moving forward. Could we see a Kicker/ Punter go 1st overall? Most likely not, but with what would see 3-4 start spots available, he could surprise many people come draft day.
Brice Boggs – LB – 71 TPE
- Another member of the currently locked in Top 5, Boggs comes in as the only LB available in this season draft (so far). Focusing on mainly his Strength and Agility with his training this season, he has still made a point to dip into working on his Intelligence and Endurance. Seeing playing time already with the Wraiths, he is already learning the ropes of the game, and looks promising for the team starting to eye this player to fill a LB starter position in the near future.
J.D. Boom – DE - 70 TPE
- Currently signed with, and seeing time on the Baltimore hawks roster, this DE is showing some great promise as we draw ever closer to the season 3 draft. A fast rising prospect, Boom is looking like a great pick for any time looking to add to their DE position. Developing himself to improve upon his Strength – Agility – Intelligence – Tackling and Speed has this young player looking to address any and all of his weaknesses all while pushing to increase his strong side of his developed game. Currently I’d full expect Boom to be a lock for a Top 5 selection.
Mark Strike – QB – 66 TPE
- One of the players who given most of the previous drafts might have snuck in as a Top 5 pick, but with so many starters already in place his timing to enter the league might be a bit off. Most likely a depth option for many teams, Strikes work is definitely more than most. Having a bit of a hill to climb this QB will have to show his potential if he plans to de throne a starter currently but has shown some promise thus far. Working mainly on his intelligence right now, he seems content with trying to lean on his ability to throw the ball smartly, while being as accurate as possible, just don’t expect any long bombs from this QB just yet.
Sammy Walters – OL – 59 TPE
- Showing some very good promise already, Walters looks like one of the fast risers in this draft. His TPE totals might not be able to catch some of those immediately in front of him but he has been dedicated to the cause thus far. I’d full expect him to go in the Top 5 currently and as long as he can keep this pace and dedication up, might even push his way into the Top 2 based on team needs alone.
Luke Long – OL – 57 TPE
- This young OL has a decent start to his season. He hasn’t been quite on the level as some of those above him, but he is still progressing forward. OL seems to be a position in heavy need right now, so this players value might be higher than most expect. Having a good balance across the board for Pass and Run blocking, he is lined up to be a potentially versatile player for teams to field in their line ups.
Godfrey King – DT - 50 TPE
- Another promising young player that the Outlaws and many hopeful teams has wished would have continued his growth, King sits stagnant without much movement, and seems to be content with the bare minimum.
Gavin Graham – S - 50 TPE
- What had been hoped to be a great early pick up for the Outlaws has been met with less than stellar growth. The young safety just has yet to find his drive to keep moving things forward as a player and might have already hit his plateau.
Shi’terrick Marks – DT – 50 TPE
- This Alabama native enters the list as the 2nd DT available as we head closer to the 3rd season entry draft. Still a bit of a question mark whether or not he will start to develop into a solid DT, Marks has some work ahead of him if he wants to generate some more hype around him and raise his draft stock.
Frank Castillo (Formelly Elite Harambe) –RB- 50 TPE
- Most likely a pick burn and nothing more. Frank has since stepped out of the game and shows no signs of growing or developing as the draft draws closer.
Victor Demar – WR – 50 TPE
- Much like his fellow draftee Castillo, Demar has yet to see any growth in his game besides declaring for the draft. Maybe a really low end depth pick as it stands Demar is looking like a reach and a bust.
