1st Round - 6th Overall - WR - Fresh Booter - @PoloPro - Draft Grade - A+
Booter has already made his impact as a phenomenal offensive extraordinaire in the world of football, playing top minutes with Colorado State as both a wide out and tight end. Not only is Booter a strong member of the offensive attack, he does well to defend his quarterback at all costs from even the most powerful of linebackers. Booter will be matched up against some intense competition this season, but his six foot six two hundred and fifty pound frame will be able to knock over anything opposing defense's can throw at him. This was a steal of a pick by the Blues to close out the first round.
2nd Round - 11th Overall - CB - Tegan Atwell - @Jiggly_333 - Draft Grade - A
Atwell is one of many defensive minded players in this draft class, and will be an excellent piece in the Chicago secondary. Atwell is breaking records already as one of the first female players, and the only female corner back, to be drafted into the DSFL. Should she progress to the NSFL she will be the only female player to participate in an NSFL game. Atwell shouldn't just be recognized for her gender though, and her small frame shouldn't be overlooked. Atwell has incredible speed and an amazing burst off the line which will come in useful as the Blues will be looking to play her as an interception champion.
3rd Round - 18th Overall - K/P - Peg Leg - @hockeyis66 Draft Grade - B
Coming in at the end of the of the third round of picks we have Peg Leg from West Virginia, the first special teams player off the board. While Leg is easily the top punter/kicker of the draft class, we do have to question the tactics of the Blues taking a special teams specialist this high in the draft. Even in the third round, with a draft as deep as this one there was room for a host of other strong players. Leg should fit right in with the Blues though, well renowned for powerful and accurate kicks as well as his ability to serve after the kick while awaiting the return. Look for him to develop into a key member of the Chicago offense.
4th Round - 24th Overall - WR - Dustin Atkins - @`dustyatters` Draft Grade - A-
Atkins was an unexpected and last minute addition to this draft class, having been eligible for the S5 DSFL class AND the S4 Class, choosing to opt in as a young player only minutes before the draft began. His outstanding ability in the red zone and as a wide out threat with Penn State earned him a rep in the community in both speed and on field senses, and he looks to bring those abilities into the DSFL with the Blues. Atkins major focus is his speed which he uses to make quick moves on unsuspecting defensive backs who leave their guard down after he tricks them with a slow start.
5th Round - 29th Overall - CB - Jackie Jordan - @voldy273 Draft Grade - B-
Jordan was the second corner back making their way to Chicago in this draft, and managed to fall into the bottom reaches of the fifth round. Jordan could have been draft higher, but his on field development hasn't progressed since his declaration for the draft earlier in the month. Similar to second round pick Atwell, Jordan possesses the gift of incredible speed on the field, flying around in the backfield to pick off balls anywhere. As he continues to grow as an athlete and train himself to really fly, Jordan will become a much stronger pick but for now we have him as a dark horse.
5th Round - 30th Overall - CB - Eric Forman - @mking22 Draft Grade - B+
This pick shocked some fans, as the team grabbed a third corner back to round off the first five round of the draft. While opposing GM's snickered, Chicago quietly sat and waited as the young player took to the stage. What many teams didn't know is that Forman had made a silent return to the league's rookie training facilities after having been called out for his lack of development. Forman is a more well rounded defensive back than Jordan or Atwell, while still being able to move around the field. If he keeps up the hard work, Forman will be atop the defensive categories in no time.
6th Round - 36th Overall - RB - David Turner - @killagod47 Draft Grade - C
Turner is a prospect that wasn't talked about a whole lot heading into the draft, and that might be for a good reason. On the surface Turner looks like a strong prospect out of Baylor with a knack for running the ball right down the center and past defenders, but the problems lie beneath the surface. Turner is a player who lacks the dedication or drive to succeed in the DSFL, and only with a complete change of attitude can even dream of making the NSFL one day. Nothing is set in stone though, and maybe one day we will see a coin toss with Turner running one side of the ball.

1st Round - 4th Overall - CB - Andre Bly Jr. - @sapp2013 - Draft Grade - A-
Going into this draft, Bly Jr. was looked at as one of the most talented players out of any. As the draft date aired closer and more and more strong corner backs declared his draft stock began to fall as teams saw other options. Taken at fourth overall by the Coyotes, some people have called that he went to high and was simply riding expectations. We here think that Bly has all the making of a top round draft pick. His outstanding speed and agility will make him a serious threat to the safety or quarterbacks and receivers everywhere, and his ability to know where the ball is going will make him unstoppable. Look for Bly to make it in the big leagues.
4th Round - 22nd Overall - S - Jacob Lattimore - @Teriyaki God - Draft Grade - D-
I'm not sure what was happening when the Coyotes made this pick, but after they traded their second and third rounders I don't think the Coyotes know what's happening either. While one of the only safeties in this class, Lattimore is - to put it kindly - not the premier product that could have been selected. While his speed and agility have been seen in the top among any defensive backs, the rest of his football skills just aren't on par with the competition and he will fail to see much success this season as a part of the Coyotes roster. I'm giving this a hot take as one of the worst picks of the draft.
5th Round - 28th Overall - WR - Victor Ball - @jcfbey01 - Draft Grade - C
The Coyotes followed up their horrid fourth round pick with a - slightly better - low ball pick in the fifth. In an attempt to bring some offensive light to their roster, the team opted to go with youngster Victor Ball, someone who declared far back in the month for this draft class. During that time, Ball's progress came to a shuddering halt, and while he's not progressing he still will be able to compete with even the best of the opposing defenses. His hands should surprise many onlookers as he will be a key depth member of Kansas' roster this upcoming season.
6th Round - 34th Overall - CB - LaMarcus Mills - @ajyoungmark - Draft Grade - C-
After already having selected two members of their defensive back team, Kansas City chose to take LaMarcus Mills in the late reaches of the draft, shoring up what was seeming to be a horrible waste of time for Coyotes fans in attendance. Mills is the second player we've covered so far hailing from Penn State, but has no where close to the football ability of his predecessor and younger competition. Mills attempted at a balanced approach but instead just comes off lacking in every area. Not a good start to the season for the Coyotes.
7th Round - 40th Overall - OL - Ray Rieman - @ray35 - Draft Grade - B
This is sadly one of the best picks the Coyotes made in this class and it comes at the second last of the entire draft. Rieman is an undercover martyr for offensive success, managing to slip into the last few picks after being touted as a fourth or fifth round prospect. While not a steal by the traditional concept of a steal, Rieman should develop into a solid member of the offensive line for his team. The positive of Rieman is that even with the Coyotes not deciding on a run heavy or pass heavy offense yet, Rieman can contribute either way.

1st Round - 2nd Overall - WR - John Wachter - @JohnWachter - Draft Grade - A
Wachter was a surprise pick to many as the second overall selection in this class. A member of the football community who didn't receive much attention leading up to this event, Wachter blew his competition out of the water at the draft combine and prospect showdown, proving his work has and will continue to pay off. Wachter specializes as a possession receiver and saw a tremendous amount of success with Maryland during his college days. Those times are over now, and as Wachter makes his way into the DSFL we welcome him with open arms as an emerging star.
2nd Round - 8th Overall - TE - Carlito Crush - @JKortesi81 - Draft Grade - A
With their second pick in this draft class the Pythons chose Carlito Crush, quite the opposite of the Wachter situation. Going into the night, Crush was expected to be a sure fire first round pick but managed to slip between the lines into the early second. The combination of Crush and Wachter will instantly make the offensive dynamic in Portland better as they look to improve their passing game considerably. Crush will serve double time, switching between his role as a secondary target and a strong pass blocking offensive lineman. Watch for a huge performance from this stud first year this season.
4th Round - 23rd Overall - S - Cameron Taylor - @CDub2 - Draft Grade - A+
Taylor is a player who was completely overlooked in this class. The odds that he would fall into the fourth round were astronomical, but after keeping his head down this diamond in the rough managed to slip and slide his way to 23rd overall where he was finally selected by the Portland Pythons. Taylor is a well balanced defender with enough speed to get by and a strong ability to drag down even the toughest of defenders. My hot take for this player is that he will finish not only as the steal of the second half of the draft, but will be one of the top defensive players in the DSFL this season.
6th Round - 32nd Overall - CB - Jakob Andrews - @Jakob - Draft Grade - B+
The Pythons continued to have a stellar class as they selected their second defensive back to start off the sixth round of the draft. Andrews is a player who received next to no media attention after only having declared yesterday. He still managed to make it through, and it's a good thing too as he looks to be on of the prime members of the Pythons game plan. Andrews is a strong and intelligent defender, but lacks in the speed department. While it's an interesting approach to the defensive side of the game, we're worried to see if it will pay off for him, or if a change of course is needed.
7th Round - 38th Overall - CB - Boston Ooty - @Dooberss13 - Draft Grade - C
Ooty is the third member of the defensive back draft class for Portland, and is easily the weakest of any of their picks. That's saying a lot though, as this was an outstanding class for them all around. Ooty similar to Andrews takes the less traditional big brute defender approach to defense. These two will likely see a little bit of play time together this season, and coupled with stud safety Taylor, they could be one of the top defenses in the league. Only time will tell how this trio will turn out, but we have our confidence in them.
![[Image: 9cN8X96.png]](http://i.imgur.com/9cN8X96.png)

1st Round - 1st Overall - QB - Wolverine Justice - @RavensFanFromOntario - Draft Grade - A+
Wolverine Justice has one of the coolest names, and coolest jobs in the DSFL. After being selected first overall in the amateur draft, all eyes will be on him to make moves and be one of the best players ever to grace the field. It shouldn't be hard though as the Seawolves are now ready to bolster one of the strongest offenses ever seen. With Justice backing them, who knows where the ceiling is. Justice is one of the smartest and most dynamic young quarterbacks out their today. His ability to read the play and react accordingly makes his a dangerous threat to defensive teams everywhere, and his pick pocket style of play will crumble the current meta of the DSFL.
2nd Round - 9th Overall - LB - Luke Kraken - @Bgreene21 - Draft Grade - A-
Kraken is a player who was immediately thrown into the mixing pot after declaring and was really given no time to think. As an early recruit he is expected to be a phenomenal member of the Seawolves, but with inconsistencies in the past he may have some troubles. With Justice covering the offensive end of the game, it's up to Kraken to dominate on the defensive side and post as many tackles and sacks as he possibly can. The pairing of these two should be able to run over opposition like nobody's business. Kraken specializes as a speedy but chunky linebacker who can pummel through offensive line's holes.
2nd Round - 10th Overall - WR - Kenny Omega - @CFJ - Draft Grade - A
Omega joins the host of other strong wide receivers already in this draft class and will have to fight to be remembered as one of the best, but we can all see by his showing in the prospect series and draft combine that he has what it takes. Omega is well known in the football community for being one of the hardest working athletes out there, and it shows out on the field. His blazing hot speed and quick thinking allows him to find holes in the opponent's backfield as he drives consistently for catches. His ability to run routes without hesitation will make him a key target for the newly minted quarterback.
3rd Round - 15th Overall - OL - Jett Winter - @Official DT - Draft Grade - A+
The Seawolves continued their prowess for offense and made another huge pick here, grabbing by far the strongest offensive line prospect in this draft class in the midst of the third round. It's a surprise this athlete wasn't taken earlier in the draft and props have to be given when due to Norfolk for making this selection. Winter is an amazing player who will be a key piece of the offensive approach in Norfolk with a new focus on air time between Omega and Justice. The main priority for Winter will be pass blocking as he hopes to help what is looking to be one of the most dominant offenses tear through the league.
3rd Round - 16th Overall - RB - Conall O'Sullivan - @Kristy95 - Draft Grade - A-
If you thought that the only focus of the Seawolves was going to be air game, you will be sorely mistaken. O'Sullivan is one of the premier running backs in the league and he hasn't even suited up for his first game. His selection this late in the draft is incredible and he looks to be one of the most memorable picks of the year. O'Sullivan is a receiving back, so even in his role as a primary runner, he will be helping aid the offensive game in Norfolk. Expect to see tons of balls in the air this season, and a number of them moving to O'Sullivan. This player looks to revolutionize the play style of receiving back that has been thus far ignored in the DSFL and NSFL.
6th Round - 33rd Overall - S - Nathan Clearwater - @Corco - Draft Grade - B
Clearwater was not especially well known heading into the draft, and that likely won't change as the season progresses. Coming in to the class as a late selection at thirty third overall, Clearwater has the advantage of not having high expectations riding on him going into the season. As a hot take, I think that Clearwater might be one of the biggest dark horses in this class. He doesn't especially excel in any one area, but rather has a host of talents as he is a medium speed defensive back with the solid ability to change directions whenever needed. Watch for him to be a secondary contender.
7th Round - 39th Overall - K/P - John Mueller - @Hamesthegreat - Draft Grade - B-
Every team needs a special teams player, and Mueller is the man for Norfolk. With an emphasis on offense, Mueller might fit right into the game plan as a passing game can sometimes be hit or miss and a strong punter/kicker will be needed. While we don't see him as a permanent or even long term answer to the special team problem for the Seawolves, he is at least a temporary solution to an issue that is of minor importance in the grand scheme of things.
![[Image: 5VacBKU.png]](http://i.imgur.com/5VacBKU.png)

1st Round - 5th Overall - DE - Bastion Barnhardt - @pulsedk - Draft Grade - A-
This is one of the selections that surprised us the most in the entire draft. Barnhardt is not someone who was given much media attention leading up to the draft, in fact none that we can remember. He was scouted relatively low by general managers, but the Marshals took a chance on B.B and it may just pay off. Barnhardt was the only defensive end on the board heading into the draft, so demand WAS high. His speed, strength, and ability to tackle are very big positive to his game, and while the seleciton might seem odd now, we can see it really being a solid selection given some time.
2nd Round - 12th Overall - LB - Luis Elmarez - @cwillis - Draft Grade - B
Elmarez is another player who was not known heading into this draft, but we're honestly starting to think that the Marshals can just select whoever they want and the decisions could be amazing positives in the future. This linebacker was not someone with a lot of high hopes going into draft night, but leaves as the last pick of the second round. His strength and tackling are unrivaled by any in his draft class, but what he is strong at, he makes up for by lacking in the speed category. Elmarez is slow as hell on his feet, and will have trouble reaching opposing quarterbacks but should be key tackling rushers for the Marshals.
3rd Round - 14th Overall - CB - Gregory Fletcher - @The_Hero - Draft Grade - B+
While some teams tried to focus on the solid offensive players in the first three rounds, the Marshals took to the defensive side of things and decided the best course of action was to select the top defensive ones instead. They continued this trend with the second pick of the third round by selecting Gregory Fletcher, someone who's name has made some rounds among the media. Fletcher is a stellar corner back who quietly climbed his way into the tops of the draft rankings by using his outstanding speed and agility to move past the opposition into the top of the scouting charts. Watch for him to be a key piece of this developing defense in San Antonio.
3rd Round - 17th Overall - S - Darren Morris - @Roly - Draft Grade - A
The Marshals made an excellent selection in the late third round by selecting Darren Morris out of the University of Oklahoma. Morris has been in the spotlight lately for his work on a local radio station producing a pre draft analysis of his fellow competition. Morris will be a huge part of the amazing secondary coming together in San Antonio and will be partnered up with Fletcher in the back end. These two will make a dynamic duo as they combine their speed to chase down any loose balls or receivers that may come their way. As my hot take on this player, I think Morris is the steal of the first half of the draft.
4th Round - 20th Overall - LB - Ben Urlacher - @Trey331x - Draft Grade - B+
Urlacher joins Elmarez and Barnhardt as the third member of the Marshals front seven selected in this draft. It was obvious at this point that the team was going to be going for a much stronger defensive strategy this season, and with this pick they took away any oppositions chances of big point games. Urlacher may not seem like much at first glance, just you're average big football jock, but underneath it all he has some amazing speed. It's crazy to watch someone as big as him simply blow by offensive lineman and crash into quarterbacks. I think that Urlacher will be one of the players who leads the league in sacks this season.
4th Round - 21st Overall - TE - Brandon Carter - @Dahorner - Draft Grade - A-
Brandon Carter made waves after falling into the mid fourth round in this season's draft. Many expected Carter to be a second or even third round selection, but the Marshals were lucky enough to see him drop all the way to them at twenty first. Carter is an exceptional tight end and will contribute a significant amount to the offensive line for his team. Just cause he's a bigger guy though, don't count him out as a plausible receiving target. He has all the speed and strength he needs to tear off defensive line man and break into open field for strong gains. And with his size, no defensive back is bringing him down.
5th Round - 26th Overall - RB - Thomas Mango - @x 23 o - Draft Grade - C
After selecting five defensive player's you have to know it's time to change things up a little bit, and that's what San Antonio did with the 26th overall pick. Thomas Mango isn't much, but he's the type of running back you expect to stick around for a long time. His size makes him a massive threat on the field, but as one of the fastest backs league wide he'll be able to blow past any defender who stands in his way. This player is a multi dimensional threat, and many teams are already scared of him before even having played a game against him. The only issue now is his work ethic, which may prove an issue should he continue in football.
6th Round - 35th Overall - K/P - Shawn Guy - @TheLastOlympian07 - Draft Grade - B-
Guy was one of the last kickers off the board, and while he isn't going to be worth a lot for the Marshals he will be their starting kicker. Guy is a talented young kicker, but doesn't have the long term development plan to make it in the DSFL. His power and accuracy are on par with his competition elsewhere in the league, but what does set him apart is his intelligence. Should the team need a trick play star, they have the man in Shawn Guy. No where else can you find a punter/kicker with his level of ability to read the play in front of him and react accordingly. A temporary diamond in the rough if you will.
7th Round - 41st Overall - WR - Buck Charles - @Btanner - Draft Grade - B
After selecting five defensive players, the Marshals opted to take the route of finishing up their draft with four offensive. Charles was the dead last pick in this draft, and for forty first overall he isn't all that bad. His speed is actually quite stunning, and as a secondary or possibly primary target for the San Antonio quarterback he could see significant play time. The question that's up in the air as is with many of the late round draft prospects is if he really has what it takes to make it to the big leagues.
![[Image: IYWh7Vm.png]](http://i.imgur.com/IYWh7Vm.png)

1st Round - 3rd Overall - DT - Egor Medved - @Walder Frey - Draft Grade - B
To be brutally honest, I think that Medved is one of the least impressive picks of the first round. That's not saying much as we saw quite the impressive pool of players taken, but maybe I'm missing some details when it comes to Medved. The Luchadores had many options in front of them, and while shoring up their defensive front seven was one option, there were some other ones that could have been taken while still seeing Medved join the team. Regardless, this strong young player will be a stellar addition to Tijuana as he plans to simply overpower and over exhort his opposing offensive lineman in a battle of pure strength.
2nd Round - 7th Overall - OL - Ryan Seirra - @Battleborn - Draft Grade - A
Ryan Sierra was the first offensive lineman off the board in this draft and the third lineman in general behind Medved and Barnhardt. Sierra is an amazing player and will help as one of the first pieces in the puzzle towards Tijuana seeing more success next season. Sierra specializes in run blocking, which is going to be a skill the team most likely will be utilizing a lot this season. He's not just a one dimensional player though, as he's developed his hands - for whatever reason - and agility. Expect him to be chasing down and cracking the skulls of defensive line opposition in no time at all.
3rd Round - 13th Overall - CB - Terrell Brister - @tbone415 - Draft Grade - A
The game plan for the Luchadores is tall and scary, and Brister fits right into that mold. Coming in as the first selection of the third round, this newly minted Luchadore will be terrifying opposition in the backfield, but not with his ability to tear them down. Instead, the fear will more be that ball will never make it to the receiver as this speedy and talented catcher will be picking off balls left right and center. It would have been no surprise to see Brister make it this far as a receiver, but his decision to play corner back just means a strengthened defensive core for any DSFL team.
4th Round - 19th Overall - RB - Sydney Spinelli - @Squeeze - Draft Grade - A+
Spinelli is another player who will be big and dominant on the field this season for the Luchadores. His six foot two hundred plus pound frame will absolutely truck opposition, and with Sierra making stops on the line he'll have all the room he needs to make the plays he wants. Spinelli has made a name for himself even this early into his career as one of the most talented and quickest drivers in the game today, beating the old record in the draft combine. His outstanding sportsmanship and on field prowess make him one of the best grabs of the entire draft, and any team would be lucky to have him.
5th Round - 25th Overall - CB - Tanner Hendrix - @TannerH - Draft Grade - A-
With Brister already in the spotlight, the Luchadores made a surprise pick by selecting mid range talent Tanner Hendrix. While not many people have heard of this young stud, he managed to float into the later rounds of the draft. His draft predictions was spot on by all major networks seeing him as a fifth round pick. Now it's just up to him to beat the expectations and go out and be an incredible player for Tijuana this season. His height gives him a massive advantage in the backfield, and similar to Brister and Spinelli he is well known for his exhilarating speed. Watch for him to be the dark horse player for this Mexico based team.
5th Round - 27th Overall - CB - Dean Jackson - @run_CMC - Draft Grade - B+
Dean Jackson is most likely the only player to ever come from Rice University, but now that he has there is no going back. Kickers and punters are going to want to follow in this mans footsteps, and while he may not be playing a position of massive need he has the attention of everybody. Jackson was in the media recently for a number of things, but most importantly his impressive kicking ability coming into the draft. Recognized as one of the most powerful legs in the game today, Jackson is seen as one of the most popular new draftees finishing his first ever professional draft.
6th Round - 31st Overall - QB - Isaac Brown - @datboi - Draft Grade - B-
With this selection we see why the team will be running an offense mostly centered around the run game. Brown was the only quarterback available in the draft after Justice was drafted first overall, so there was no where to hide for the Luchadores. While Brown isn't necessarily the best quarterback ever to grace the pitch, he'll be good enough for Tijuana this season and provided no stronger quarterback candidates join the mix next year could see himself playing for a few years to come with the team. Brown hails out of East Michigan college and will be remembered for an amazing 92 yard pass he made in the season finale for his school.
7th Round - 37th Overall - WR - Jordan Banyard - @danny828 - Draft Grade - C
This red zone threat was the first selection of the final round of the DSFL draft. No one knew about Banyard going into the draft, but he comes out as a strong option for ball receiving from Brown for this season. With a team playing mostly on the ground, Banyard will be a secondary target all season long but should see a decent amount of receptions. If he were on a better team you'd be able to see more of his skill as in college with Pittsburgh he made some pretty amazing catches.[/div]
