So the idea of reaches and steals in the NSFL draft is easier to look at than in the NFL due to the easy look at the players attributes. That said my analysis does not take into account the value of specific positions because I'm lazy and can maybe make money off that later. So the first thing I did was plot all the draftees by position and TPE earned as of 3/1/2020.

Next I put in a trend line as a point of reference.

Now I know there are better and more scientific ways of placing a trend line but I'm not a fucking nerd so I picked one that looked nice.
So heres where it gets real...I looked at all the individual teams draft picks and plotted where their picks landed. So here's Arizona

They are like most teams, staying very close to the trend line. save for a couple notable picks in the first half of the draft well over the line

Bless Austin for only having 4 picks. Made my life easier. They stayed pretty close to the line as well but did not have a single pick above it.

The second half of the Hawks draft pretty much defined the line. A couple of reaches but also a steal make their draft pretty average for quality, but thats made up for with quantity in the later part of the draft.

Chicagos 7 picks lived on the line pretty much with their first 3 picks a little over, and last 4 a little below.

Isn't that a pretty logo? They have some steals early and some reaches late but overall a good looking draft.

The Second Line lived below the line with only a couple picks later in the draft even slightly above the line. I'm not a GM though so who am I to judge.

The otters were like most teams, but their 1OA pick alone made their draft great.

The Liberty, like NOLA lived below the line with some headscratchers early in the draft. I dont know anything about their picks other than their TPE (or lack thereof) so for their sake I hope their picks prove me wrong.

San Jose was all round the line. Hitting on their first 3 high round picks makes this draft great and theres nothing really to hate about it the rest of the way

Finally we have the Wraiths. They had one big steal and one smaller one. Like most other teams they had many picks close to the line.
