Hello everyone. I have a ring now! Go ahead. Ask me anything.
1). Reflect on your first season in the NSFL for us.
It was amazing and challenging. I felt like I was facing something I'd never seen or dealt with every single week. And to end up with not only a ring but also sitting side by side with the likes of Dimirio and Wright in a personal performance standpoint? Indescribable.
2). What is Bronko like during the game? What about off the field?
He's a leader, pure and simple. He comes to you, you come to him, it doesn't matter. If there's a piece of information or an idea, he listens or he suggests. We had a secret hand signal by game 5. Off the field he works hard and plays hard. He as two facial expressions. A grimace of determination and a big smile.
3). What was your favorite route to run this season?
Whichever one worked, honestly. I'm a pragmatic guy
4). Who did you have as a mentor this season?
Chess for sure. The man has so much knowledge and knows how to really play the game inside his head. I learned so many things.
5). Is there anyone you especially like going against on the Outlaws Defense during practice?
Franky. Franklin, I should say. Pretty sure I'm the only one who gets away with calling him Franky. There's a reason we both had huge rookie years. We sought one another out all the time and pushed each other. And every time one of us went against a vet, we just turned and used those new ideas and moves against each other.
6). What team do you dislike the most?
Whoever's on the field this week. I love my team. I hate whoever we're against. I don't care about anyone else. It's an approach that works for me.
7). What do you feel are the three most important traits for a TE?
Everybody's different so you know...caveat. But intelligence, good hands, and a willingness to work hard.
Thanks. next?
1) You're lost in the jungle. All you have in your pockets is a quarter, a stick of gum, and a nail file. How do you get home?
A body bag probably. Umm..don't tell my troop leader I said that. I was an awful Boy Scout.
2) If you had to make a philosophical argument supporting iceberg lettuce over spinach leaves, what would it be?
I'm evil and I hate great things. Have some lettuce.
3) Which element on the periodic table are you most convinced is not an actual element but rather a government conspiracy?
Oh shit. They're onto us. Gotta let my contact know.
4) Area 51 or Area fifty-fun?
I've met guys who worked out there actually. Supposedly it's a lot more boring than you'd expect.
5) What's your stance on vowels? Are they really necessary?
I dunno. The Welsh seem like they're doing okay without them. Somebody should look into that.
Thanks for the questions. Next please?
Who's your fave team to play?
I can't say I have a favorite right now. That'll probably change but I spent this whole season being more focused on what I needed to be doing than who I was up against. I have a feeling it'll end up being the Otters. I just don't know that for sure. Don't quote me on that unless you add the don't quote me part.
Do you think you're the best TE in the league?
I think next year is gonna be a big year for Tight Ends. Me and Conner, and DiMirio are all in a spot where we're gonna light things up. I think it's gonna be a revolution. So...check back next year on that. Oh..and Joe. Don't forget Joe. I expect he'll be right there with us. I have no idea if that really answers the question, I'm just excited.
Who's your fave teammate?
Jax for sure. I get along great with so many guys but Jax and I bonded damn near instantly. Dude is hilarious and we came in together. All five of us bonded, really. Me, Jax, Sam, Franky, and Goddy. One game..I....I won't say which one..we were winning by a lot and every time he comes in to spell Reg he spends the whole second half lobbying Bronco to let him play QB just one play and he's so over the top with it that everyone's laughing. I mean..don't get it wrong, when the ball snapped, he was all serious every time. No one was slacking. I don't need a fuc....damn Smitfter rumor thing here. But....uhh...Jax is....maybe I shouldn't have told this story...oh well....Jax is workin' Bronco. He's just at him for three quarters and finally King says he can call a play in the huddle, and we'll audible to it at the line. And we're trying so hard not to laugh because everyone expects it to be for him, right? Nope. Bomb to Chess for a touchdown. Jax bows to Bronco and tells him that he just wanted to see that beautiful deep ball on the sideline, everyone loses their collective shit.
Next question?
Now that you've achieved an Ultimus victory, what's your next big goal?
Two of them. And probably a chef. Maybe a jet ski.
