*Do you have any goals for yourself this rookie season?*
Beat the Pythons' record for sacks in a season, and eventually go further and beat the DSFL record for sacks in a season, as well as tackles too. It's not an easy accomplishment but I personally feel I can take on the challenge and excel past those records.
Also, bring the Pythons an Ultimus and win Best Defensive Player. Pythons deserve another one, and I believe I can work hard enough to get that award, even if there's other defensive players who shine as well.
*How do you feel about ending up with Portland and how are you liking things with the team so far?*
Honestly, when the draft finally came, I was thinking I'd be drafted by the Marshals or Coyotes because they scouted me first. I didn't expect to be drafted by Portland, and although PFTN talked to me before the draft, I was unsure on how it'd be on the Pythons. Coming in I was a bit worried I wouldn't like the team, but I think even before preseason started we all became great friends and we're all definitely hyped to give it our all this season and hopefully go undefeated.
*What team are you most looking forward to playing against in the DSFL?*
Marshals. They won the Ultimus last season and are coming back ready to win another, but we're coming in ready to win one as well. I think when we face each other it's gonna be a power battle but in the end we'll take the W. Maybe I'm biased though haha.
As a player from Orange County are there any players on the Otters you try to model your game after?
Definitely a weird one to say, but Mike Boss. I know our positions are eons apart from being similar, but to me it's not about the position, it's about the player. Boss' work ethic, determination, and grit are something I plan to reciprocate and bring to the field. I want to come out there strong and show everyone how great of a player I can be and will be.

*How do you feel that you fit in with the current defensive line?*
It's probably my ego talking, but I feel I'm definitely a great addition to an already good defensive line. I think I'm going to bring more power to the defensive line, along with my defensive line buddies. We're all ready to destroy any offensive line that comes our way.
*With high profile players like McCoy and Grau coming back, how are you feeling about Portland's chances to win the Ultimini?*
We have a very solid chance at making it this year. On offense, having a top WR in Grau come back in is a major plus along with Cowboy McCoy. Knowing those two, they're gonna rack up touchdowns like it's no tomorrow.
Our defense is just as great as well. A solid prospect at defensive tackle, Titan as a defensive end, Hammer Jack as a new prospect CB, Mason Brown coming back, Harrison at safety, it's all signs of a shutdown defense and I truly believe that's what we'll be.
