I understand this part, but just because something appears in an instant to not have valid reasoning doesn't mean it isn't indeed valid in the end.
In this particular example, the fear was that he edited player data, ratings, etc. which would sound off a bunch of alarms at first, as it should given the rules and the history of this league. But once the digging was done and it was found he just changed topic titles from "Player 1 QB Season 6" to "(S6) QB - Player One", those alarms should have been properly shut off.
Yes, @Pens should've asked someone, but he did nothing malicious here, and perhaps should have been slapped on the wrist instead.
