So when I was HO I did this periodically, and when I took over the owner job I did one as well, figured it's been a long while so I'll open it up to questions.

Recently the Head Office made a decision that it feels safe to say was not popular, feel free to ask about that or anything else. I'll try to be as open as possible in answering any questions.

There have been a lot of TPE scandals in this league, from Noble, to Gibson, and many others now to Westfield. I have seen suspensions for the serious, and nothing for the "minor", but never a TPE penalty. In the case of Westfield, we have a respected member of the site who did something illegal, most likely due to simply forgetting the rules, but still illegal. Given that he holds multiple records, simply correcting his attributes is not enough, because it will taint the career records. Why not simply penalize him TPE (I would propose 1.5x the extra TPE utilized)?

With the agent "drama," why did there appear to be so little effort to find a way to be an agent? Later on in the thread it was stated that a user COULD be an agent as long as that user controlled no players, which I think was a great idea. Was any discussion had with Er as to what he was looking for with this and try to find some way to allow that while preserving anti-tampering?

That's a tough one. My first week in HO was certainly a tough one, we had the whole ER deleting mod logs, and I do regret the way that was handled (we should have come down harder on him).

I think there are, and have been, a lot of communication issues. I feel like no matter where we come down on a certain issue a large percentage of the populace is going to disagree with us.

My biggest regret though is probably allowing the simmer situation to reach where it was back in .... I wanna say S5? I felt like I was constantly scrambling to find people to sim, we had numerous simmers ghost on us. Thankfully we don't have that problem anyway (thank you), and on top of that we now have a MUCH easier way of streaming.

But yea that's probably my biggest regret as a head office member. That season specifically (off the top of my head) feels like we lost a lot of super talented DSFL guys because we had so many streaming and simming issues.

I'll handle these issues in turn.

Look, I think the Noble and Gibson punishments, and the way those were handled were an abomination. I wasn't part of that HO, none of the current members of head office were, so I don't use those as "precedent" or anything.

As far as Westfield, I don't know what should be done. It will be discussed by the head office and I don't want to usurp their role or anything. I understand a mistake was made by Westfield, the Head Office and the updaters, but I'm inclined to say it wasn't all too big of a deal and we shouldn't do anything other than double check our work. I think 99% of the people missed the point of Trey's thread, which clearly was that witch hunts get us nowhere, and that the way the Hawks were treated back then is a fucking disgrace. He wasn't trying to burn Westfield down.

As far the agent drama I'm not sure what you mean in your question. DOR's announcement stated that you could be an agent if you are unaffiliated with a team and do not have a player. We did not have any discussions with ER, but we received complaints from numerous General Managers. I don't know if it crossed the line to tampering, but we decided to put an end to it before it definitively did.
