Hello NSFL,
At the conclusion of the season, I will be retiring Marcus Kane and moving on to the next chapter of my NSFL life. I lost some steam after a hot start to Kane's career and I would like to get back to being a good player in this league and for that, I need some help. I would like for you to peruse the few players below and vote for what my next player should be.

First Name: Elijah
Last Name: Webb-Simpson
Position: WR
College: Wake Forest
Birthdate: December 3, 1994
Handedness: Left
Jersey Number: 13
Height (ft.): 6'3"
Weight (lbs.): 225lbs
Birthplace: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Player Archetype: Speed Receiver (Eg. DeSean Jackson, Brandin Cooks) [/div]
BIO:
Elijah Webb-Simpson is a former walk-on for Wake Forest. The speedy wide-out was born in Winston-Salem and grew up watching the Demon Deacons, which is where he fell in love with the sport. Webb-Simpson was an academic force in high school but while he excelled in the classroom he could never keep up on the field. It wasn’t until a post-high-school growth spurt shot the 5’9” receiver to 6’3” did he manage to garner the attention of football coaches. Elijah had managed to get a full academic scholarship to his home-town of Wake Forest to which he planned on attending; majoring in Health and exercise sciences with a minor in psychology.
Elijah had been spending his free time at the gym to keep his body in shape in the off chance that he could play some football in a recreational league. However, it was during one of his workouts that a coach for the football team noticed him and invited him to a practice. Webb-Simpson was not an overnight success at Wake Forest but the coaches liked enough of what they saw to add him to the roster.
Over the next few weeks Elijah got familiar with the playbook and kept honing his physical skills; it was not long until Webb-Simpson got on the field and showcase his talents. Known as a speedster in high-school made Elijah excited to see what he could do with his new size. Fans were happy to see EWS on the field as he quickly established himself as a superstar and helped Wake Forest to many wins over his 4 seasons with the team. Webb-Simpson even put his degree on hold to pursue a career in professional football. Can the speedy receiver make the jump to the NSFL?

First Name: Judd
Last Name: Hawkins
Position: TE
College: UCF
Birthdate: February 25, 1995
Handedness: Right
Jersey Number: 88
Height (ft.): 6'7"
Weight (lbs.): 250lbs
Birthplace: Michigan, Detroit
Player Archetype: Vertical Threat (Eg. Jimmy Graham, Jordan Reed)
[/div]
BIO:
Big, bad, Judd Hawkins was once dubbed the “Michigan Mauler” due to his propensity for accumulating roughing penalties. Hawkins’s temper can be his undoing as defensive players can get him in trouble by pissing him off. When Judd isn’t letting his rage control him he is destroying defenders with his size and speed. Hawkins is like a condom in the end-zone, 99.9% effective.
Hawkins was a highly sought-after commodity after an impressive high-school career saw him set touchdown records on offense while also putting up respectable sack totals as a defensive end. Hawkins was not as polished as an edge rusher and his lack of stamina hurt him but it is nice having a gridiron player in today's game.
Hawkins will be entering the DSFL draft shortly and he hopes to bring his penchant for scoring paydirt to the big stage. If Judd can keep his temper and costly penalties to a minimum, he projects to be a highly successful tight end at the big dance. We shall see which team will take a chance on the highly talent but abrasive Detroit native.

First Name: Beau
Last Name: Montgomery
Position: LB
College: Florida State
Birthdate: June 7, 1996
Handedness: Left
Jersey Number: 56
Height (ft.): 6'5"
Weight (lbs.): 255lbs
Birthplace: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Player Archetype: Speed Rusher (Eg. Von Miller, Vic Beasley) [/div]
BIO:
Beau Montgomery is a big farm boy from Wisconsin who is as nice off the gridiron as he is mean on it. Montgomery is as athletic as they come, the edge rusher has the prettiest bend seen in college. Beau is not without power to his game but against some of the stouter linemen he struggles with his hands and therefore relies on his natural gifts.
Off the field, Montgomery is a hard-working person who grew up building muscles on his family's farm. Beau always credits his father and grandfather with his high work ethic and his momma with for his manners; In many ways, Beau is the quintessential midwestern farm boy. Montgomery is also heavily involved in charity work and loves to work with youth.
Montgomery is expected to announce for the DSFL draft at the end of the season and many are curious just what kind of player he will turn out to be. A team can never have too many pass-rushing prospects but so often we see players fail to live up to the hype as they meet their match in the game’s elite pass blockers.

First Name: Chase
Last Name: Summers
Position: RB
College: Wright State
Birthdate: August 17, 1995
Handedness: Right
Jersey Number: 22
Height (ft.): 6'0"
Weight (lbs.): 210lbs
Birthplace: Wilberforce, Ohio
Player Archetype: Receiving Back (Eg. Danny Woodhead, Devonta Freeman) [/div]
BIO:
Chase Summers is a former tight-end who had to make a change as the other players grew; a string bean tight end just will not survive in this day and age. At first, coaches thought he would be a natural at wide receiver but they found that he didn’t have enough separation at the line to be effective. Summers was close to being removed from the starting lineup until a chance encounter saw Chase lining up behind the quarterback.
Once Summers made the move to halfback, his high school career took off; the scatback showed a knack for finding holes in the defense. Summer’s time spent as a tight end allowed him to bring sure hands to the backfield; he was used less and less as a side feature and became the focal point of a Wright State offence that turned heads.
Chase has shown himself to be a natural leader as well, his charisma saw him named captain as a freshman. The team rallied around the soft-spoken player as he led the Raiders to some of their best seasons. Should the back attempt to tackled the DSFL draft he would surely garner some attention but we expect the back’s lack of experience would hurt his draft standings.
