Let me start by saying thank you to everyone who applied. There were quite a few great applications that would have been fine choices. With the recommendations of Grapehead and support of teammates the head office decided to keep it within the Orange County Otters organization. It came down to two new members who don't have GM experience but both bring the attitude and commitment to the league that we want to see in GMs. Finally, we came to an unorthodox decision, but one we think is the right one.
We are making an exception to the 1 Co-GM rule for this one time only, in an effort to groom the best possible GM for the Orange County Otters. For the remainder of this season @Shaka will handle all GM responsibilities with 2 Co-GMs, @Jbearly and @Jiggly_333. Shaka is tasked with grooming these two for the remainder of the season and teaching them what it takes to be a GM. At the seasons conclusion Shaka will step aside and one of these two will be named Head GM, with the other remaining as Co-GM. We believe this decision will result in a strong GM tandem for the team for the forseeable future.
Congrats to all three of you.
