Sooooo much this. Taylor had an unbelievable and was easily the best defensive back playing at defensive back in the league (as a matter of fact it is in the top 10 most PDs in a season in league history) and he won't get a nod for DBotY because of someone playing at LB.

It was also three touchdowns but I treated everything equally.

Its the efficency calculation between how many yards a TFL costs a team vs how many yards a sack costs a team. And good lord do I have to explain memes to you as well?

Memes are an evolution of inside jokes being a referencial based humor ment to be shared publicaly.

Dline gang is a meme based off the reference to other "(insert group here) gang" memes ie, two tackle gang, gang gang, minnesota mafia, oline gang. D-line don't get much attention for droy or dpoy beacuse of their inherent stat disadvantage.

Now they're getting cunt plumped by the fact that unless they're lining up at the role that the guys in yellow play, they will never ever win the award ever again.

At the very least split DBOTY into three seperate awards, CB, S and then like S@LB of the year award. Or lump them in with linebackers because that's what they are now. We already have people not enjoying their time at CB because of how streaky it is to begin with regardless of 5 , 500 or 5000 tpe. Now we're at a point where if we arent using the meta, we wont have a chance winning our own fuckin award.

I agree completely! It is very disappointing to have a great season at CB and know that I have no shot of winning an award. I like the idea of adding a "CB of the year" category and making the safeties compete in their own category. People who chose to play CB shouldn't be punished because they can't get sacks or rack up the tackle numbers. I have never vocalized this until now but it has been one of my biggest issues with this league. Thanks for addressing it and hopefully a change can be implemented to help out corners.
