Tallahassee, FL - Reporters gather around the locker of the two sport phenom, Jameis Christ. He has announced what sport he will decide to pursue as a professional. There has been lots of talk of him staying on the diamond as he was drafted in the first round 17th overall by the Yankees. You would think he would take that route as it would take a lesser toll........
Jameis approaches his locker
Jameis: Wow! What a turnout for little old me. First and foremost I would like to thank god, why? Because god is good, god is great! I mean look he built me didn't he? Without further-a-doo I will make my decision which sport I will pursue the Hall of Fame in, I mean I'm not saying it won't be both, but first.
Jameis clears his throat
Jameis: First and foremost I would like to thank god for the Arm he blessed me with. I mean he's great isn't he? Gave me a 95mph fastball, and the ability to hit a receiver 50 yards down field. Gave me the mental intelligence to get out of that bases loaded jam, or read a defensive front, and audible my back into the proper protection (shout out Calvin Dook). As I sat at home in front of playbook texting back and forth with Coach Jimbo. Have I told ya'll about this man Jimbo? Ave Mercy! That Jimbo Fisher, great coach- great coach, man god bless him. Anyhoo I tell him something a long the lines "Yankees! God, sure had a play for me! I can't wait."
At that point I got a message from Jimbo like one I had never seen before it was the :eyeroll: emoji. I sat back and though to myself Coach Fisher just hit me with an emoji, I knew by God I had fucked up. I tried to defend myself "But Coach!" then he hit me with a haymaker in his next reply. "Jameis is you skrong?" I thought back and as I did only images flashed in my mind, images of the National Championship.

Realizing that my greatest accomplishment, thanks to God was on the football surface. I decided to stick to what made me the man I am today, and sign with the San Jose SaberCats.
Jameis opens the floor to questions
Male Interviewer: How did you choose San Jose? What factors went in to a town that has never really had a major football presence?
Christ: You know I thought to myself, what the hell does San Jose want with me? I then made some phone calls, and asked about the San Jose SaberCats. The things I heard were buzz words like "winning culture", "strangely devoted fanbase", "offense minded", "4 time Arena league Champions". I didn't hear anything bad, and that's pretty unlikely now a days, don't ya'll think?
Female Interviewer: You do realize that the competition in the Arena Football League, is not on par with the NSFL?
Christ: I leave that up to god, because only he can judge me, or anyone. You'll see me out there on Sunday, playing my heart out for these boys, just like I did on Saturdays.
Do not grade, feel free to ask questions about both Jameis Christ or the SaberCats.
1) Who has been your biggest role model up to this point in your life?
I mean this question is easy - it's God, he created me. How great can someone be, god what a fuckin' guy.
2) How will the offense of the Sabercats be structured to best use your talents?
We will draft a few big ugly dudes to keep me off my back, unlike those scrubs in that All American game. Next we will draft some monster WR's that will burn the competition. With my CO-GM holding down the defensive side of the ball, we will hopefully be able to make stops when we need them. The team is mostly going to be modeled off high scoring, high flying offense, but we understand that without a good front 7, and O line this won't happen.
3) Many have commented o your lack of endurance, how do you plan to remain competitive throughout all four quarters considering this?
I can only focus on so much at once, I know that come week one I'll be where I need to be physically and mentally. I plan to have people around me that strengthen me in all ways, especially my weaknesses. God, made me if he had made me perfect this wouldn't be any fun for anyone else. My endurance is definitely important, but it's a team game we win together.
4) When the draft comes and there is a QB believed to be a better fit for the SaberCats than yourself, would the team be willing start him over you?
I'm not ruling it out, but most likely not. We would need to be issued a pretty poor deck of cards to consider drafting another QB. While there are some who look great, and have performed well in the All-American Game. I think drafting a QB in plans of replacing myself would be poor draft strategy.
5) What is the best way to prepare crab legs?
Right out of the Publix wrapper.
1. Will Jameis change positions for the better of the team?
Like I addressed above, it's not likely but if for some reason I was caught stealing crab legs again, and we were fined our 1st round pick, I may consider something drastic. The fact that I would be able to switch positions if there was a QB we though would be in for the long haul it may be tempting. At this current point in time, nah.
2. Why is Christ the best QB in the league?
All I can do is thank god, he made me and put me on this Earth. He is so great I am just a mere mortal playing to be in his grace. Seeing all he's done, and his greatness - how can't you strive for greatness?
3. Who's the WR you want to be your biggest target?
Garden's gotta be on the top of everyones list, West had a monster game in the All-American game. There's some really good wideouts out there, it's got me rethinking my draft strategy already as there is so much talent at the position.
4. Will you look to throw the ball or run the ball first?
The defense will be running after my wide receivers and tight end, and sometimes my receiving back.
5. Will San Jose be an offensive or a defensive team?
Bof
1. We see a lot of baseball players undergo surgeries on their throwing arms. Have you had any of these surgeries that we should know about? (Tommy John)
My shoulder is Skrong, I was more of a straight baller, the guys throwing that funky cheese typically run into Tommy John. My arm feels good, god gave me this big skrong frame, and I intend to use it.
2. I understand in baseball it is sometimes acceptable to use chewing tobacco. Mr. Christ, there are rumors floating around that you are addicted to chewing tobacco, how do you address the concerns?
I plead the 5th *spit*
3. How do you turn away a potential career with the NY Yankees for a career in the NSFL? I mean... the NSFL is pretty great but the Yankees? C'mon bruh.
The Yankees have their own story, so many greats have blessed their team. The real deal breaker is when they wouldn't let me wear number 3, I know a great before me had worn it but god masde me in his image. In the NSFL I will make the SaberCats a bigger brand and name then the Yankees will ever.
4. How much velocity can you put behind a football?
42 1/2
5. What type of WRs do you want to be throwing to? Deep threats, route runners, possession receivers, or speedsters? Or do you want a combination of all types?
Of course you need a combination of them all, I want gamers I want guys who are going to fight for that jump ball, extra yard, loose ball. There's some prima donna wideouts out there, I want team guys.
