20)Nostalgia - My happiest moment in the league is also, coincidentally, the first moment I had in the league. After joining PBE only a month ago, I decided I wanted to take my talents to the gridiron to play some football. After quickly signing up right before the draft, I was drafted pretty early in the night and it was an awesome experience. I was drafted by the Kansas City Coyotes, and my happiest moment in the league is the first night I spent with my brand new team. After all of the new draftees shuffled in to the locker room, we all spent the night conversing and bonding over all of the things we found to have in common. Our GM was great and made sure to ensure that everyone felt at home. As the season went on, we all cheered on our team every sim as we all pushed hard to get to the playoffs. Our season did not go entirely as we hoped, but the bond between teammates was strong and will never be broken. As we eventually broke off into our own separate ways, we continue to stay in touch and will do so for the remainder of our NSFL careers. As all the Coyotes know, “Fear the howl!”

6)Next Year - This year, our team was not as successful as we would have liked it to be. I know that I feel that way personally, as does the rest of our team. We, as I always do personally as well, have big aspirations for what we know we can do. We all know the potential of the team and know what it takes to get there. Granted, we were a young team last season with very little experience at many key skill positions on both offense and defense, but we do not want to make excuses for our poor performance and lack of success last season. But, thankfully we now can learn from our mistakes over the last season and take that to perform next year. The biggest key to having success in the next season is our young rookies coming up from the DSFL. We have a huge budding star in Rotticus Scott sitting in DSFL, and he is hungry and ready to come up and perform. Combine all of the rookies coming up with second year players like myself ready to step in to bigger rolls and fill those leadership roles that are needed for any successful team, I think the entire NSFL needs to look out for the Colorado Yetis next year.

Tree Gelbman - I think the biggest thing for Austin being successful is that our GMs have crafted a very well balanced team that gets along well together, especially on an offense lead by Mako. If the locker room is vibing well together, the team will play well together

Red Arrow - 2) What was the biggest thing your team was missing this season to capture the ultimate goal?

Tree Gelbman - Not really sure if I can tie it to one specific issue. The roster was solid, I think we just got outplayed come playoff time. Sometimes things just don't fall the way you need.

Red Arrow - How do you feel about your personal performance this season?

Tree Gelbman - Really lacking. Didn't find the end zone one time and my targets/yards dropped massively from my previous season. I served more of a situational role and more of a "first down acquiring" expert but I need to keep getting better (My twitter game got amazing though)

Red Arrow - Why will next year be different?

Tree Gelbman - It's gonna be different because I'm gonna actually show up this year and go off.....for like, 40 receptions for 400 yards in a season. But the team will only get better through the draft and as a result we're gonna be on top of the NSFL again.

1) Playoff Reviews NSFC Conference Championship Edition

The Yellowknife Wraiths came into this match after a surprising victory over the Yeti in the Wildcard game; Baltimore, as the season NSFC champion was set to receive all of its opponents at home. Once again we got the QB duel between Bigsby and Havran, as well as a great match of defenses. During the first half, everything went the way of the Wraiths with two touchdowns from Bigsby in addition to a 83 yard touchdown by CB Mervin Leonard who intercepted Havran; during the last minute of the second quarter, the Hawks managed to put some points on the board with a 46 yard field goal from Kulture Fulture. The score finished 24 to 3, Yellowknife on top with a great opportunity to make it into the Ultimus.

Baltimore needed to regain its confidence in the offensive scheme if they wanted to get back in the game, so by the start of the second half and after some adjustments, they managed to increase their points with a 44 field goal by Fulture. In the fourth quarter, the Hawks defense stopped every Wraiths attempt to extend their score and allowed its offense to produce two touchdowns with the help of RB Darrel Williams; it wasn't enough, Yellowknife won 24 to 19 and advanced to the Ultimus after an incredible defensive display in the first half coupled with an effective offensive performance.

2) Playoffs MVP: RB Forrest Gump

RB Gump from New Orleans has been one of the most important pieces of the offense since he was chosen in the famous season 15 NSFL draft. Now, in spite of having a companion in fellow RB Toriki with whom he shares the backfield, Gump finds himself producing at the same level he had when he was the only threat on the ground. Without a doubt, on the road of season 21 playoffs he was the MVP who put the team on his back to earn the long awaited title. First, let's look at his stats for the season; Gump finished in the top 5 performances for running backs with 1031 rushing yards, 7 touchdowns, as well as 480 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. Great overall work for a RB on the brink of regression.

His most important playoff games were the Wilcard and the Ultimus matches. In the former against Austin, Gump had 125 rushing yards and 1 touchdown which he scored in the first quarter; he was named the offensive player of that game. For the Ultimus against Yellowknife he put on a stellar performance, probably one of his best of the entire season, with 102 rushing yards, 119 receiving yards and 1 touchdown in the last two minutes of the third quarter; once again, he received the honor of being the offensive player of the game. With this effort, he deserves to be named one of the most valuable players in season 21.

10) Armchair GM

If I were the GM for an expansion team such as the Sarasota Sailfish, all my attention will be given to the large pool of players in the following S22 NSFL draft so the franchise gets a great headstart in its debut. With the expansion draft done and some positions from both sides of the ball filled with good options for at least a couple of seasons, one of my priorities would be to find the QB of the future; although Vega is pretty much set for the upcoming season, I feel that grabbing any of the more active rookie QBs and let him/her develop for at least 2 seasons in the DSFL will be of great advantage for the franchise in the long run. After QB, TE would be a decent choice to prepare for the future retirement of Johnny Blaze. Finally, I would grab a running back in the later rounds, since it's one of the positions with decent depth; same goes for a kicker if one active is available in the last rounds.

As for the defense, linebacker will be my key position for the first three rounds, since currently the team doesn't have any player to fill that spot; after LB, defensive line and safety could use some more depth players. Finally, cornerback gets the lower priority because the position got covered with the expansion draft.

With so many rookies I wouldn't expect to reach the top of the NSFC for at least two seasons, nonetheless the team can reach an early goal in the road to success with a couple of strong drafts which means a favorable situation to attract good free agents.

16) Scouting Report: S22 LB - Derred de Ville

For this edition I will be writing about one of London Royals defensive stars, linebacker Derred de Ville. Right now, he enters the NSFL draft as a top ten TPE earner of S22 class and is the second best linebacker prospect (as for amount of TPE gained). He was picked first in the second round of season 21 DSFL draft (9th overall) and pretty much has lived up to his potential with stats that include 147 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 9 sacks, 1 interception and 8 passes deflected. This performance earned him the linebacker, defensive rookie and defensive player of the year awards. It was an amazing achievement considering this is his only playing experience in the league.

No doubt de Ville has a first to second round grade with this kind of work and as a speed rusher linebacker with great strength, tackling and speed abilities, he should get the looks from several teams that had some trouble producing sacks. The only remaining questions would be if his skills translate well to the NSFL and for him to develop more the mental aspect for processing pro offensive plays. It will be interesting to see which team drafts him and if he's going to make his debut in the big league or stay for another year in the DFSL playing top defensive football.

10) Armchair GM
Written: What moves could your team make to improve for the next year, be it in free agency, keeping players, the draft, etc. (Please be careful to avoid tampering.)

On this topic, I’m going to speak a bit broadly. I could use the Outlaws as an example, but admittedly, I haven’t followed closely enough this last season to properly critique any team, much less my current GM @Unicorn. (who I think is doing awesome, by the way); however, I can talk about the lessons I’ve learned as GM. First and foremost, hedge your bets when it comes to the draft. Diversify and try to focus on quantity of picks over quality. And I say that because quality is difficult to measure, perhaps even possible, in the long run. Moving up several picks can be worth sacrificing value, but don’t give up too much. Some of our best picks turned out to be 3rd or 4th rounders while top prospects have hit IRL obstacles that no one saw coming. Concerning free agency, from my experience talking to different GMs (and hitting quite a few walls in Free Agency myself), it seems that an engaged war room and, by extension, team will go a long way. Several FAs told me that having multiple members of a team meant more to them than any pitch from a single GM or GM team. Finally, in terms of retention, communicate with your players! Don’t take anyone for granted. Have regular conversations (either in the locker room or PMs) to make your guys feel valued. When you have a player putting in work that isn’t getting love from the sim, show them you appreciate them. Pay close attention to their interactions with other players and make sure that all players stay on good terms. The league can be stressful at times and having a bad performance (either as a team or player) can become a powder keg, but at the end of the day, we all want to work together and it’s on the GM to keep tensions in check. 12) Pay It Forward
Written: Write about someone in this league who you look up to or who you think of as a friend. Why do they deserve to be lauded?

One person in this league that I would like to highlight is @SabaDonutMan. I’ve gotten to know a lot of players over the course of my time here, including many outlaws that could easily be mentioned here. However, the reason I choose Saba is that he ended up in a bad spot a few seasons back and, if anyone deserves a second chance, it’s me. From the moment Saba joined our team, he was engaged in the locker room, consistent in his activity, and enthusiastic about the league as a whole. He became a member of our war room and immediately made me feel that it was the right decision as he quickly became one of our most active war room members. When I left the GM spot, I knew I was leaving it in the hands of a very capable war room and Saba was a big part of the reason for that confidence. I’m not sure if he is as appreciated outside of the locker room as he should be, but he is beloved by the team and I can’t imagine the Outlaws without him. On top of that, he remains a great example for wide receivers across the league to follow as he continues to display top tier activity. (212 Words)



19) Team Culture
Written: What is it about your team’s culture and/or locker room that makes you happy to be there? If there are any problems, what do you think should be done to improve them?

I’m a very loyal guy. I’ve always been a team player. I try to help out because I want to see my team succeed, but this is partially because both of the teams I’ve been with made it a great experience for me, so I rewarded that with loyalty. As a GM, though, it was a different story because I had to look at it from the other players’ perspectives and give them the experience that I had gotten as a player. What I really enjoyed was seeing the team rebuilt from the ground up, starting with the S14 draft and S15 drafts. I saw the locker room change over time and revolve around these players. And I enjoyed it because they made it their own. Since then, we’ve brought in more talent who continue to participate and leave their stamp on a locker room where we try to make every member feel valued and appreciated. And, when I did move on as GM, I felt every bit as loyal to my players as I had to my previous GMs when I was in their spot.

Of course, there are also things I felt should be improved during my time. As a GM, I put a lot of pressure on myself to keep the locker room fun and engaged. I would hear stories about other team LRs and worry that I wasn’t doing enough as a GM to keep things active. Even though it was an active LR, in the back of my mind, I blamed myself because it could always be MORE active. And the truth is I don’t know how to improve that, but maybe the two lessons to take away are (1) stop judging yourself by what you perceive everyone else to be and (2) have faith in your players to tell you what they need. If they tell you they’re happy, then they probably are. Second-guessing yourself when your team seems to adore you is not going to do much good. (335 Words)



20) Nostalgia
Written: What is your happiest memory in this league?

My happiest moment in the league was the S16 Ultimus win for the Outlaws. Not just because my team won, but because I saw this team of characters assemble over only a few seasons and come together to become greater than the sum of our parts. This was a team that saw ourselves as the underdog and was proud of it. Getting that win meant the world to us and it brought validation to our efforts as a group. It was our only Ultimus during my reign as GM and there would be heartbreak ahead, but that moment was absolutely perfect.

My next happiest moment, not surprisingly, was the Wraiths’ S8 Ultimus win. Unlike the S16 Outlaws, the S8 Wraiths were a team that had come close many times (S4, S5, S7) only to keep falling short for one reason or another. The team wanted the trophy so bad, but it kept eluding us. I had actually stepped down during the season due to IRL issues that I needed to focus on, but a lot of the work we had done in the offseason and over the previous season laid the foundation for that win. Bzerkap even honored me by keeping me in the co-GM role through the end of the season even though I wasn’t able to continue with my responsibilities for the last few weeks of the season. It’s a moment that will forever link me to the team and, while I’m proud to be an Outlaw now, I am grateful to the S2-S8 Wraiths for helping mold me into the player and user I am today. (269 Words)

Team Culture

So I started off by seeing the reddit post in R/NFL as alot of S22 players did. I didn't know what to expect and it was my first and only sim league, I followed the instructions/walkthroughs for rookies as best as possible. Unfortunately, I still just didn't grasp everything I should have and was a later round pick by the grey ducks. And here's why this couldn't have been a better place for me to be. I was accepted into the locker room. But for the first few parts of the season I kept pretty quite, only PMing the GMs for advice, until one week I really just took a shine to how together and open the locker room really was, no one ever has anything negative to say about each other, everyone consistently motivates and picks everyone up, even if we had a rough week. It's crazy how it works, how some random internet people can start to feel like friends, even family. I've had that experience before on some games but how quickly it happened in the grey ducks locker room is a testament to the GMs and how much importance they put on locker room, personality and activity before winning, having that culture means the winning will come, even if we had a down year, there was no better place for my growth than with there grey ducks.

Pay it forward

So I praised our locker room in team Culture and it's very hard to narrow down just one person I look up to or consider a friend. There all friends even family. But Ducky Bowser M.D. or as you guys may know him as Dewalt27. Was one to consistently motivate me, answer every question I asked, even if I may have seemed like that annoying little brother who just keeps asking why. After the initial intros, and help, we bonded in the locker room over our love of golf, which led to me giving all the tips I could and just talking about every aspect of how I improved, even getting him to buy on of the best training aids lol, I guess that was my help for his golf game as much as he helped me in here. Of course we all chimed in about my pictures of delicious smoked meats(giggity, giggity) and whiskey (buffalo trace and Woodford are 2 of the best, don't @me) I really just wanted to shine a light on someone who helped me start figuring this league out. And honestly he's definitely not the only one, Boomer Duck, JangoRhino, Buck, Voiceless and everyone I may have forgot could of been written about. But raise your glasses and let's take a shot for DeWalt27 for being a class act and a hell of a friend.

Next year

As we all know before last year's down year the ducks were back to back ultimini champions. And even tho some great players are going to be going on to do big things in the NSFL. We know that our GMs are going to bring in the best talent to fill in our holes. They're going to draft for activity in these areas and take the best possible players at positions we need. Saftey being the biggest one. Our locker room has never been more motivated to maximize all our potential, we're all on the same page that we won't to bring that chip back to the ducks trophy case. I never seen so much positivity in the locker room than these past few weeks. The constant checking in, motivating, reminders of opportunities, reaching out to help, it's been amazing. Once the draft is complete and we know who's coming back down, who our new rookies are, our GMs can then run simulations to get us in the best possible position for this year. We put are trust in them, just as they put there trust in us to stay active and continue improve. With all the camaraderie we have and the overall atmosphere this looks like a bounce back year for us ducks. So remember.  “Ever seen a duck fight? No way. Why? Because the other animals are afraid. They know that if they mess with one duck, they’ve got to deal with the whole flock. I’m proud to be a duck and I’d be proud to fly with any one of you. So how ’bout it? Whose a duck?” Krause will be a Duck. VonPebbles will be a Duck. Everyone will be a Duck. I WILL BE A DUCK. BECAUSE, DUCKS FLY TOGETHER.

We could probably use the #1OA pick that we traded for to pickup a guy who would be a franchise player for us, that would be a good start for you big brain guys. We literally never get anybody in free agency because people either arent fuckin bothered to move on from the original team since theres no incentive to beyond NSFL fun bux and you can just fucking word vomit for that. So basically there's never a reason to even contact free agents since about 70% of the time they're either fake free agents gauging the market for their current teams benefit or low tpe inactives that don't really do anybody much good.

So beyond the human minefield that is the draft and outright avoiding cunts in the draft, we didn't get shafted by the expansion draft too badly and nobody has jumped ship since Ashley Owens left us. Beyond that there's not much more you can do bar putting out fires and just earning TPE really. Everything else after that is pretty much the same, make some trades, submit some rules that wont get passed, wait for the inevitable drama to happen somewhere else around the league and then ride the salt wagon in the comments. Same old, same old.

11) Rivalry

The biggest rivalry that we and I as an extension, being a member of the Austin Copperheads have is clearly the simmer team. Every year we've been mugged about by them, whether its exp's all wrong, weights on OL all wrong, teams using illegal DC's like OCO against us last year, all wrong all wrong all fucking wrong.

We're hoping that this year is the one that bucks the trend and we dont have any cockups on our team again but the rivalry always exists, simmer team members come and go but the rivalry is always there and year on year it becomes saltier. We have the preseason for the distinct reason of avoiding these dumb as fuck errors but the rivalry persists, and what is a rivalry if not an unlimited salt fest for the masses. This rivalry is unique in that we don't want our rivals to lose, to suffer or even leave. We just want them to leave us alone and to do their jobs without cocking up.

I believe that this year will be the last of our rivalry before it moves onto somebody else but then again we've been rivals every single year since S16 so this makes it year 7 of this hotly contested simmer cockwangcocksucking fuckup rivalry, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Written: What is it about your team’s culture and/or locker room that makes you happy to be there? If there are any problems, what do you think should be done to improve them?

I think being real about if, for a start don't let your LR's leader be a guy who will wake up one morning and cry about the color of the sky because it's raining out or his favourite anime waifu broke up with her 2d boyfriend (or got back together with her animated spouse/w/e the angle). You can't afford to fill your team with guys whos personalities clash with the ones you've already got there. Your LR "culture" is created by the guys on your team, it's a pool created from your pool of personalities. You can have one, maybe two dicks in your locker room provided they arent causing internal grief, but what you can really never has is a guy who outright weirds out his/her teammates with their antics. I'm not talking memes or being a smol brain like me or butters, like genuine weirdness/cringe shit. People don't take to that well unless the LR is full of people from that domain.

You make trades if you fucked up and move the bad people out of your environment into other teams LR's , thats their problem now. Theres going to be guys who are problems externally and internally, you can deal with the external guys like me. You can't deal with the internal guys who rob people on your team the wrong way, they're too integral. If you're a GM, nut up and make some moves and avoid the human minefield that is the NSFL Draft.

20) Nostalgia
Written: What is your happiest memory in this league?

I think for me my favourite moment that was not one of those while being apart of the original HO team with dwyer, bayley, slm, & AP would have to be when we finally won the ultimus way back in S8 with the Yellowknife Wraiths.

For those not aware we got shafted a fairly decent amount of the time, including the previous Super Bowl where we lost in the first game of the playoffs despite having the best regular season record and home field advantage throughout should we have progressed further into the playoffs. We had an insanely stacked team and still fucked it up in the playoffs in S7 to the Liberty who actually went on to win it all as the biggest underdogs in NSFL history.

So for S8 what did we do? We traded pretty much most of our future assets to acquire the rotting corpses of that S7 team who were in regression in order to re-tool and try to re-establish ourselves in the playoffs and by god we finally did it. We won the Ultimus for the first time in our history using the rejects from that Philly team and everybody who was incredibly old and bitter from our many many playoff defeats prior, a real rags to riches story. Either that or Jiggly's baby rage from the site where I established myself as untouchable in the eyes of the NSFL Law, in fact one could argue that I truly am the superior being in the NSFL. Almost a deity of sorts.

11) Rivalry

I've always hated going against @nunccoepi. Not cause I was afraid to lose, cause that would never happen, but because he always had some trick up his sleeve. You see, the Luchadores and Pythons went toe to toe in several Ultiminis, back in the days where we would be lucky to have a draft class of 50. There was no Lucha-Python game that was decided by a blowout, even the Ultimini where we were looking to complete our 15-1 season of destiny. We did not lead until pretty late in the game. And if I'm mentioning him, I obviously have to mention his great partner, @iseedoug, too. I never really had a stable partner like they have been in their careers in management, but truth be told, I grew jealous of the chemistry they had and how they would almost finish each other's sentences when they were talking in the DSFL GM chat. After all, they were one of the few DSFL teams that was able to stay consistently on top of the league, and it really bothered me for some reason. Their meme culture was impeccable. It was almost like a thorn in my side, they were a malfeasance I would crave to get rid of.

12) Pay It Forward

There's a lot of people I can think of for this type of recognition, but I really gotta shout it out to my mans @124715. I dunno if he's still around but this guy is a certified nice guy. We go way back, and I've always loved talking with him and competing with him. You see, back then there was a time when I was the GM of the Portland Pythons and he was a GM of the Kansas City Coyotes. Now, that was the "big rivalry" back in the day, and we would go head to head often, generally with big playoff ramifications. But beyond the competitive spirit, there was always a mutual respect between us, because here we both were, trying to improve the DSFL teams we were managing in an online simulation. Also, just talking with him in general was always a fun experience. I would poke fun at his player and then he would mention how irrelevant literally my whole career has been. I haven't seen him in a while, but if you're still here on the site, shoot me a message on discord! We have lots of catching (not something DiMirio did very often) up to do my friend.

1. What's one thing you're looking forward to next season?

Well now that I’ve got some of the learning curve whittled down, I’m eager to catch up on all the missed TPE I wasn’t earning last season. I feel like Minnesota has a strong case for making a good playoff run.

2. What was your favorite memory from last season?

Heading into week 13, we desperately needed a win to remain in the playoff hunt. We put on a beatdown as the underdog for that matchup. We were so pumped. Granted, we dropped the next game to a team we probably should have beaten and were essentially eliminated. That’s the way it goes.

3. What's one part of your game you're trying to improve?

Speed. I feel the need. I worked so hard on my hands before the DSFL draft and now I’m working on being a burner.

Pancakes. Slightly undercooked.

The playoffs are over. Time to review some of the more interesting match ups. First of all, the Wraiths. Could the Wraiths make it to the Ultimus again and keep their run of the bridesmaid and never the bride going? Well let us see. First they disposed of the Yeti in convincing fashion. Even though the score was only 26-13, the Yeti didn't score a single point in the second half. That is just embarrassing. Cooter Bigsby had his way with the Yeti as they provided no resistance. A similar story happened in the second round, this time the running game taking over the game. Hanyadi had over 110 yards and averaged over 4 yards a carry. That's a pretty savage stat line in a playoff game. And that brings us to the big one. The big game that everyone knew would happen, and everyone already knew the outcome before the game even started. Why should I even write about it. Everyone knows the Wraiths are losing this game. Ultimus and Wraiths are like oil and water. Wratihs and being finalists are compatible, but winning it all? No way. And the results came in, and wow. The Wraiths lose. Life continues. 201

2) Playoffs MVP
This wasn't reall much of a debate. I was thinking between Toriki and Gump pretty much the entire playoff run. I also had a pretty good feeling that NOLA was going to make the final anyways because of the incredible amount of influence NOLA has over the league. But who knows. It was a pretty close race for MVP until the final game of the year. Both Toriki and Gump had over 100 yards rushing in the finals. The difference was Gump's receiving game. Gump had over 100 yards and for that reason, I think Gump deserves the Playoff MVP award. It would be great to see if NOLA can bring in another minimum contract max earner into their backfield so they can continue to manipulate the cap and perhaps next Ultimus they can have 3 100 yard rushers and continue to dominate the league. The weird part was that Gump had over 220 all purpose yards but only had one touchdown. But I guess you don't need to score much when your RB partner had another 150 yards and a touchdown. It's weird that NOLA has one of the best QBs in the league but he didn't even need to do anything. 203

3) X-Factor
I'd say the X Factor in the league and in the playoffs was NOLA management team. They've created a great LR that everyone wants to be part of as long as they are willing to take minimum and keep the dynasty intact. They also have the commissioner of the league on their squad who just happens to put up pretty huge number, especially in the regular season. You would think that a star running back and someone who put up 220 all purpose yards in the Ultimus would command a pretty big pay check, but no. Management has managed to grab Toriki on a minimum contract which is really good for them. They've managed to get everyone pretty cheap, so good for them. We will see what happens in S22 when a couple of these contracts come up for contract extension. But I don't expect Toriki or any of the rest of the stars on this team to command much more money than minimum. They also have a good stockpile of draft picks too so management can have their way in the draft as well. Re filling all their cupboard for fresh meat that their system will churn out. 200

10) Armchair GM
I would say it is pretty easy to help fix the Chicago Butchers. Having Mu ad Bay at the helm provide great name recognition for the site so that may attract some free agents. Plus, those of us remaining in the LR have it going pretty good. Everyone in the last month has shredded the Butchers for a various reasons, giving their own two cents about how to fix the team. All of them have pretty much said that they need to tear it down and get draft picks. But you know what, draft picks aren't that great. Why would you trade away a active almost max earner to recoup draft picks that only have a chance of becoming a max earner? Trading away the active members to make the LR a desolate wasteland just for a chance to get some members from the largest draft class is the opposite of smart management. So thank you to those that wrote in, we know exactly what not to do. I think the only thing I would have done differently is to trade away Leaf as soon as he stepped down from the GM spot. It was clear he was done with the team at that point and since then he's only tanked he own value in order to keep his narrative going. So it's okay, but we could have maybe stolen a high S23 draft pick for him. 320

6) Next Year- Next year the Dallas Bird Dogs will win the DSFL Trophy(Ultimini) because of the talent that will be returning to the team. Next year it is likely that we will be able to build on our almost playoff season because our quarterback, running back, tight end, two starting receivers, and entire defense will likely all be back in the system. A lot of teams will lose players being called up to the big leagues, but since this was all of our first years, it is likely that we will have a large percent of our guys coming back. We had the team that was updating the most through most of the season and if you extrapolate that activity through an entire off-season? That is a formula to be able to get a lot of improvement on a team. Then you have slackers like me who kept earning TPE and just not posting it to updates because they are lazy. I think that the London Royals will also improve a lot because they are in the same position, but we appeared to be more consistently active and I believe that we have more proven commodities. The DSFL is going to see a very elite Dallas team next year. Winners. (210 Words)

7) Screwed- There is a part of me that thinks we were screwed by both the sim and the position that we were put into. Think about it, we were an expansion team so we had all rookies which really screwed us. We couldn't have any proven commmodities to carry our team, which was very unfortunate. But our GMs did a great job drafting and pieced together the most active team at any level in the league. This means that we were earning and improving at a rapid pace after starting very far behind the other teams. I believe this should be rewarded by the sim! I'm not saying that I think we should have won it all because other teams had very good talent as well. We were rapidly improving, though, and had the highest number of guys giving it their all to the team. There is a part of me that feels like all of our hard work was screwed by the sim not being able to recognize this and by starting behind the 8 ball. I firmly we will be rewarded for this next season, though and I cannot wait to destroy the sim engine, proving the superiority of our active team. (204 words)

9) Dynasty- Three topics with the same core for me? Fun. I think that the Dallas Bird Dogs will be the next dynasty in the DSFl because of the leadership, community, and talent that the team has. Gucci and Kyle were both very committed to the locker room and ensuring that we were provided with every opportunity to get better and to learn about the sim engine. Leadership and GMs that care are crucial in the DSFL, and you can see how it rubbed off based on the community it created. Dallas has a very good LR that is active and everybody gets along. This team chemistry is crucial in getting people to stay active in the DSFL. Then you add in the talent that got brought in last draft as well as the talent that will be added with top picks in this draft. Guys like Benson Bayley, White Goodman, Stanley K, William Lim, and more will likely all come back and continue to be absolute studs. Adding more talent to that? It could be a Warriors Dynasty in the making. When Dallas adds more talent, they will look like a team that will run the league. The Bird Dogs have the essentials to become a dynasty with a good GM, community, and beautiful recycling of picks. (217 words)

7. As the GM of the Minnesota Grey Ducks we were absolutely screwed out of the playoffs. I’m not saying we built the perfect team but we really didn’t lose many pieces from our championship run, we had our DSFL MVP returning, top level tight ends 3 very talented running backs (1 that was maxed) along with some DL pieces. We added a lot of talent in the draft to help us fill our needs and rebuild. Yet somehow the Sim decided that our offense was not going to be able to score any points this season. We would be lucky if we were able get offensive touchdowns in a single game. I’d love to understand how a league MVP can regress so much. Yes he had to split time but there’s really not much excuse for him to pass under 50% completion and 5 interceptions with only two touchdowns. The reality is the sim decided it didn’t want the Grey ducks to win another championship. To pull back the curtains even further, we lost two games to London that we tested 70+% for a chance to win. The chances of losing both games like that is very slim, but let alone the game being a complete blow out is something I still don’t comprehend.


8. The dang Yellowknife Wraiths are up to their same old tricks. The Baltimore hawks were having a great season winning close games, beating almost every time and eventually winning our Division and a first round bye. Havran & Maddox were in elite form all season and the defense playing at an elite level. It finally seemed like everything was finally going in Baltimore’s direction. Then in the Conference championships the Wraiths decided to show up and break out hearts again. It seems like anytime the Hawks look primed to win a Ultimus championship the Wraiths find a way to ruin our season in the playoffs. I know that the Hawks aren’t expected to be as good next year losing many talented players to expansion. But i Know that anytime we plays the Wraiths next year this team is going to go to war. I hope we are put in a position that we can either eliminate them from the play offs or ruin their shot at the ultimus. That would be the sweet revenge our organization needs after these last 5 seasons of disappointing losses to the same team. So watch you Yellowknife because these bird of prey are going to be ready to play.

16. Mo “Mamba” Magic is going to be an elite player at the next level. This guy seems overlooked by the NSFL scouts and other DSFL teams too. He was a 3rd round pick which gave him huge motivation coming into the league. He took that motivation along with his passion and turned into a great balanced DT (though rumor is he has been bumping up his speed). He has contributed on the field much more than his stats will ever show. Off the field he stepped into a leadership role right away with the Grey Ducks. You could tell from the moment he was scouted that he was a natural leader and a great locker room player. Mamba has had such an impact on the Ducks that the rumor is he even helps them with their game plans and personnel decisions. Mo is a bonified 1st round talent in any year and still should be in this large draft class. GM’s of every team should have him as their top Defensive line player and potentially top overall defender. There is no doubt in my mind that when he steps on to the NSFL field he is going to be an instant impact player for energy and performance.

17. As Asher Quinn has previously announced Via his twitter, he is an official spokesperson for Bawndo! Brawndo is the thirst mutilator it has electrolytes and is what plants crave! The Ultimus add starts off with a guy standing on a random street drinking one of those other sports drinks. Asher Quinn runs up and kicks him right in the balls. Asher Quinn then turns to the Camera and says “ Don’t let life kick you in the balls like this loser, get yourself some Brawndo!” The commercial the goes on to explain the importance of Branwdo. A pedestrian on the street will ask “ but what is Brawndo” and Quinn will explain “Brawndo is made of electrolytes” then everyone will ask “ what are electrolytes?” Then Quinn will explain that its what they use to make Brawndo and its what plants. The commercial launches Brawndo to a next level in sports marketing and puts it on the path to crush all other sports drinks and eventually replace almost every other drink on planet including water. Quinn uses his millions of dollars for the commercial to purchase as much Brawndo stock that is available expecting the company to grown and eventually become the largest employer in the world.
