Kacey Dream has a lot of hopes for the coming season but he has two main hopes and desires. These would be actually restoring his play on the field to what it was when he was playing in the DSFL. Winning an award or making the pro bowl would be a great step towards accomplishing this goal. This goal also comes with a desired statistical increase on the field. The Dream wants to at least double his interception total from last season and get his passes defended number back up to what it was two seasons ago. Maybe returning a touchdown or two along the way, whether that is on the defensive side of the ball or returning kicks. The other big goal for the Dream is winning an Ultimini. He has been so close but never gotten there. The Orange COunty Otters won three straight championships right before Kacey got called up and haven't won since then. To be quite blunt Kacey Dream's NSFL career has been an absolute failure. He has cast a shadow of futility upon the great organization that is the Orange COunty Otters and he is determined to change that. This season will mark a rebirth and rejuvenation not only of hiimself as a player but of the entire organization that he plays for and represents. Big changes are coming for both of these entities.
My first season with Baltimore was largely uneventful, and one to forget to be honest. We didnt make the playoffs nor did Derred win any individual accolades, didnt even make the Pro Bowl. Got to improve on this this season.
The whole team has been working really hard this off-season to get better at everything they do. Our QB Chika now has the fundamentals down and the first season under her belt and will continue to get better every week, as the seniors in this league will slowly start to fade into the realm of the forgotten, otherwise known as regression. I am glad that my friend and fellow Royals alumni Kaepercolin has been called up and will give us immediate impact in our receivers room, and the chemistry with Chika has already been evident in these first few weeks.
The dream of course, would be to win an Ultimini, but the primary personal goal is to get at least into the pro bowl with a stretch of de-throning Mo Berry, but Derred may have to wait at least another season for that particular honor. Baltimore has a young core now, and we may need to just pull through the pain of yet another loosing season, however, in the end it will all be worth it once we dominate the league for years to come, in the new Baltimore Dynasty.
Last season for Honolulu was definitely not a bad one, but this season we are aiming even higher. We have one of the youngest teams in the NSFL. Veteran QB Corvo Havran is the team leader, the QB is a game manager that probably won't win or lose games but helps move the ball down the field effectively. Jed Podolak is a star at the WR position, he's Havran's favorite target and is the number one option in the passing game. His athleticism combined with his hands would make him a top 5 receiver on a different more pass happy team. Honolulu does feature a very good 2 headed running attack, Ruff Ruff is leading the league in rushing TDs with 5 while Ke’oke’o Kane-Maika’i leads the NSFL in total yards from scrimmage.
Defensively we are led by myself and LB Mark Arianlacker, as the leaders on the defense we make sure the defense plays tight and disciplined. It's been a challenging season for the defense so far as we've played a number of top teams and have struggled a little. One bright spot is rookie DE Logan Noble Jr who is tied for 2nd in the league for tackles for losses. While LB Jack Banks is 3rd in the league in sacks. While we don't force many turnovers the season is still young and we might change up our defense to become more aggressive.

I am lucky to join a situation in Tijuana where the organization and the fans are used to a winning outcome. Right now, I’m just a lowly back-up, but the team has such a strong foundation I am sure that I will be leading a great team, whenever I am allowed to become the leader. I have spent a lot of time personally in the weight room to offer everything I can. I am expecting playoff success, I want to be a part of the winning culture. I think if we struggled this year, it would be a surprise. We have arguably the best QB in the entire DSFL, Slothlisberger, and throwing to Howlett and Vequain, he should be able to keep up his expectedly high statistical numbers. Our running game is a little bit of a yikes situation, but there’s plenty of time to improve. Our linebackers and secondary are the highlights of our defense, but I am a bit worried about the pressure generated by our defensive line. I have confidence in the coaching staff to make the best out of our situation and put our best players in a position to win and be successful on the field. Right now, my responsibility is to soak up as much of the offense as I can and be ready to apply it at a moment’s notice.

It looks like Norfolk the best Folk is making another push for the championship. The team saw a couple of young guys being sent down again and they are projected to be valuable assets to a team such ass Starcross, Ramza and more. I guess Skrills is too. The team had a decent record last season and was pretty close for a finals so for this season I expect the same or even the better outcome. Playoffs and then we can fight for the highest prize of them all. Didn't check other teams but I'd like to believe that we have a really good roster with some of them being already at max DSFL TPE cap. Let's say we can do something like 9-4/8-5 record in regular season and hope we can win this whole thing.
I'd say the same belongs to Skrills himself. Last season, he managed to put 3 touchdowns with a pretty good average yards per rush stat. So let's up this touchdown number to like 5 or 6 at least. He may have problems wit that though. That inactive Tequilla dude is still there and the team also drafted another running back Captain Rogers who is already taking some of the plays out of him. So while having his stats stagnated will disappoint me it wouldn't be that surprising if that happens. So far, he basically split plays with Rogers with having a slightly better average yards per rush stat. Although it still loses to his last seasons' one. Luckily, it's just one game on. Also, I noticed that Skrills is getting another role, a kick return. So far, he had 2 attempts with one of them being a decent 36 yard return. I'm not having a certain expectation in this paticular stuff, just a bonus. Could be nice if he scores a TD or two from that though.
TL;DR: Norfolk having a decent record and try to win the ring, Skrills becomes a relevant first rushing option.
The Orange County Otters are coming off a back breaking Ultimus loss at home. The Otters are looking to get back to the big game as they come back slightly better than last season. Armstrong’s prime target Hugh Mongo is aging along with him but is still more than serviceable. Tatsu, Future, Phillps, Edd etc. are all another year older but another year wiser. The Otters are in the midst of a youth movement but also are seeing aging vets like Armstrong and Mongo make their way slowly out the door. This means that their championship window with guys like Armstrong are closing, and the desperation for more championships before he retires is burning pretty hot right now. Armstrong is still coming to terms with the Ultimus loss. Looking at the scoreboard, the result still doesn’t make much sense and squandering an opportunity like that is hard to swallow. It’s unfortunate but the team must move forward. The rest of the ASFC will feature some stiff competition with NOLA and Austin looking good and the Outlaws and Sabercats should never be underestimated. It’ll be a tough road to get back to the Ultimus but no one has ever said winning Ultimus’s were easy. This should be a great season for the Otters.
I will discuss about my team the Minnesota Grey Ducks! As of the current season, I believe we are situated to not only make a run for a playoff spot but also contend for the title this season. For starters, our defense is filled with rookies that appear to be breakout studs and/or huge contributing pieces to team success: Alejandro Chainbreaker, Woodrow Brooks, Rashad Hillard, and myself, Azarius Ranger. Based on the preseason games and our first real game in the DSFL, the four of us have shown that we are able to tackle effectively, are very speedy, and are able to create turnovers. However, out of the four of us, I feel that Chainbreaker is the most likely, at the current moment, to win defensive rookie of the year as he managed to get over 15 solo tackles in our first ever DSFL game, hinting at his huge defensive potential!
However, while this team has outstanding rookies so far, it wouldn't be fair to not highlight our veteran and experienced players on our team: Kai Sakura, Daymond Brooks, and Sim SnowBow. I believe that these veteran and experienced players will be able to lead us as a team to not only make the playoffs but also push us towards obtaining a championship!
This upcoming season is my first season as an NSFL GM. I am excited to help be a part of a team that is looking to head back to the playoffs. We were on the verge of making it last season, only missing out because of losing a tiebreaker. The team has kept the same core and added some great new rookies, one of those being the king of tackle for losses in Om. He already has the record for most TFL's in a game in Philly history. Already in just four games he is making his mark noticed on not only the team but around the league. Another player poised to have a breakout year is our quarterback Brock Phoenix. He finally has several weapons to throw to to help succeed. Through his leadership, our offense will be able to take the next step to becoming a powerhouse of an offense. One final key that will lead to our success is finally having an active offensive lineman on the line. Being able to have an active OL in the trenches leads to success for our offense. One player I believe will have a breakout year on defense are Matt Cross and Brandon Booker and I wouldnt be surprised if you hear their name at the end of the season for a pro bowl nod/ award seasons. Philly has a lockdown secondary and a high powered offense that is going to lead to playoff success.
Coming off of their first ever Ultimus win, the Colorado Yeti believe they are in position to make a repeat run and the mood in the locker room suggests they are fired up to do so. Though a couple key players announced their retirement after winning the Ultimus, they are still around for one more season meaning the Yeti have not lost any key contributors. On the other hand though, a couple key pieces in starting linebackers Mo Berry and Tony Gabagool have been hit hard by regression and star quarterback Wolfie McDummy is feeling the first hits of regression. Outside of those three players though, the remainder of the roster is still young and trending upwards, meaning the Yeti should at least be competitive this season. Poised for a breakout season on offense is wide receiver William Lim. With Red Arrow announcing retirement after the Ultimus and James Bishop in what is likely his last season due to regression, Lim is set to be the top receiver in an offense featuring arguably the best quarterback in the league. Another potential breakout player is tight end Earl Sauce. Sauce has the 7th highest TPE on the team, but the stat block hasn’t been overly kind to him in his career so far. Perhaps this is the year where the Sauce man finally has his breakout campaign.
