When i saw this PT i figured it would be something related to trivia so i got excited because i was preparing some material from the Office trivia episode, but i got bamboozled once again, i guess i have to talk about a short story that happened in the locker room instead, which will be way less funny than a trivia PT. Let me bring back some S6 NOLA memories with Ben, spec, bobo, tbone, and all the other hooligans in that locker room that played DnD for a bit with beaver DMing on some roll20 website. My character was a gnome wizard who couldnt hit a barn door or whatever that saying is, i swear i missed like 80% of my shots, and missed 100% of the shots i didnt take, so thats like a 95% miss rate if you dont think about it too hard. that game eventually fizzled out, mostly because of how long it would take to get going. there was also a time in NOLA LR where i got put on trial for treason against the team. I had a great lawyer, and in the end i was able to get away with some community service , and i think we might have also capitalized and got paid media money for that.

So, I havent been on the ISFL long but I have a pretty funny story, i was going through the process everyone must go through once and do the process of interviews and going into team locker rooms and interacting and such. Well I said screw all that, I talked to like two people, in DMs the whole time. Fun fact neither of those teams I was DMing drafted me so I guess my plan either failed miserably or succeed epicly depending on how you look at it. So while I was being a creeper and just vaguely paying attention to teams locker room one thing I did do was the Poke'Cord, I loved doing the Poke'Cord, I got like 4 pages worth of Pokemon during the time I was suppose to be interviewing and meeting people on DFSL teams. So one day , a few days before the draft someone in the Bird Dogs locker room sniped a Pokemon I mean we were off each other like milliseconds that's how close it was. So later that day I joked about it and made a jab at it and this dude, who's name will not be named, this scum of the earth, goes on to humble brag and be like well it's not my fault I type faster then everyone and know every pokemon for like 6 generations. And I dont remember what I said but I know it wasnt kosher, from that day until the draft neither of us did the PokeCord in the Bird Dogs Pokechat anyone and I'm not going to lie, on draft day my heart like sank every time the Bird Dogs were up there because I didnt want to to there after that.

The crowd is going wild, shaking the ground, its so loud it almost makes your head spin. My hair is drenched in sweat, hanging down my shoulders. Waiting for the Royals to come back from timeout I am just taking in the moment. We have a huge lead, ive made a few good tackles, our defense is dominating every aspect of the field. This is what you live for. Anyways the royals come back from timeout, they break the huddle and head into singleback formation. Cortez looks over the defense, he looks broken, weve been hammering him all night, but hes a hell of a competitor, he wont give up on a game no matter what. So he starts to audible, and its nearly impossible to hear with the crowd noise. Ive moved up to cover the TE in man coverage and I get a feeling I know whats coming, but I wasnt entirely sure. They had done this formation a few times already, rhen it clicked, I remembered. Its gonna be play action. Cortez hikes and I shoot the gap. I timed it perfectly on the snap, as soon as he looked up I saw the fear in his eyes and BAM I take him straight to the turf, hard. I get up and Im pumped! I start shouting, the crowd goes wild, the whole defense gets hype like they do with any sack. But this felt different. It was surreal. My first sack in the DSFL. Time slowed down, I could feel the heat from the lights, every emotion I had been bottling up came out right at that moment. Ill never forget it.

Douglas Quaid was born and raised in Utah. Utah is known for some of the best off roading in the world. It’s terrain is challenging and scenic. One time the young teenager in Quaid set off with his dirtbike into the desert, when he returned he was no longer a kid. It was an early start to the day, Quaid parked his truck, fired up his bike, and went full throttle into the desert like a bat out of hell. He covered many miles on his ride until his bike encountered catastrophic engine failure. He had to ditch the bike and return on foot. The summer heat beat down upon Quaid and cooked him like a steak. He became in dire need of water. Water collects at low areas, so Quaid wandered into a slot canyon. The canyon was getting deeper and narrower. Alas, there was a collection of water. Brimming with excitement Quaid rushed to the water source, but stumbled and caused a rock slide which pinned his arm against the canyon wall. The only chance of rescue was self rescue. And the only cutting tool he had was a pair of nail clippers. He did what had to be done, he cut his arm off, guzzled the water, and powered his way back to his truck. At the hospital doctors successfully installed a bionic arm which aids Quaid in making tackles on the field to this day. (239 words)

It was a regular day in the Kansas City Coyotes locker room. The players had just finished up with practice for the day and were packing their things and heading home when there was a knock on the door. It turned out to be the Colorado Yeti Scouting department, and they were inviting the Coyotes to participate in some pre-draft scouting. As with many of his teammates, Fawn Dillmiballs was eager to make an early impression on NSFL scouting departments, so he quickly accepted the invitation and shortly after arrived in the Colorado Lounge. Upon arrival he saw budding stars all over the place, all of them trying simultaneously to make friends with others around the league and prove their worth to the scouts. But one thing caught Fawn's eye more than the scouts or the players or the serve yourself buffet: :wolfie:. Fawn stood there, mesmerized by :wolfie:'s power, its tilted head, its radiant smile. Fawn rushed out of the room, using all 85 of his speed points to make it back to the Coyotes' facility as fast as possible. He busted through the doors and yelled. "Star! We need :wolfie:!" And thus, the legend of :howlie: was born.

Never bring up the brown sauce or pineapple debate with the Turtles. This is a warning to fellow players, coaches, gm’s, owners and fans. This is a story of why it is not a good idea to even think about this. As you have already heard a few stories about the Turtles you will know about the friendly rivalry that exists within the group.
One evening the rat decided it would be a chippy for tea. Now the excitement for Mikey was through the roof and Raph’s stomach was grumbling. Now the order of 4 pizzas, a haggis supper and whatever trash the rat was having. Everything was fine, until the delivery driver arrived at the man-hole cover. As the driver read out the order, Raph’s face went fiery red and Mikey had his hand on his nun-chucks. At the same time Raph Shouted ‘NO!! BROWN!! SAUCE!!’ Mikey also shouted ‘BLOODY PINEAPPLES’. What happened next is up for debate, as some believe the delivery driver was knocked down by a van. While others believe, the driver was viciously bulldozed by Raph and then laid into by Mikey. No one really knows. Maybe you could ask and find out. Just remember its better not to. ![]()
I know all too well the agony of a defeat that should have been avoided. I was part of the AYSO league in my hometown, and I sort of dominated it for the last few years I participated. I joined a team late, winless through 2 games, and we won all the rest of the games to win the league. Next year my team just won all the games. However, I remember no game from these anywhere near as well as I remember the last game of my AYSO career.
We went down big, early. While going down by 3 goals would normally be a big deal in a game like soccer, and it still wasn’t ideal, but we had been in this situation multiple times over the course of the season. We oftentimes went down by a lot, once by 5 goals, but we always managed to storm back and won in the end. This was very different from the previous years where I and my team were scarcely challenged until the tournament of champions between all the different cities in the area. However, there was one major problem this time. One of the two best players on the team was mentally out of it after that. Not me, I was busy trying to rally the team. But my strike partner got extremely shaken, despite him being th most physically gifted player on the team, with the most goals all year. Still, we started to manage the comeback. We went down by one, I yelled “ONE MORE ROUND!” to my teammates as I had done multiple times before, but the 3rd quarter was running out of time. Yes, in AYSO there are quarters. And I knew that despite me being the best player on the field for the first 3 quarters, despite my strike partner being a black hole, my coach was going to take me off and not him. We got a corner and I ran down the field trying to hurry...but time ran out and I was taken off over my begging and pleading to stay on. My team dominated the 4th quarter without me on the field, but we weren’t able to score and my strike partner continued to stink. We lost by one in my final game of AYSO soccer and I still remember it almost a decade later.
One thing that was interested that happened with George Fisher actually happened a few days ago. I guys the sim automatically retired George because he was 41 years old. This was really fun for me to hear because I always try to have the most fun in every sim league I am in. When the sim engine itself gives me a chuckle or funny moment that is some of the best memories for me in this league. Other than that for on-field memories, I would have to say the best one was making the pro bowl last season. The fact that I could make the Pro Bowl in only my second season in the league was really impressive to me. I think that comes from our team being a defensively focused team. We take pride in not allowing offenses to run all over us and I love all my defensive teammates. The guys in San Jose have all been really cool from the first day I was drafted. That is important to me because I like the social aspect of sim leagues and if I do not like the locker room I will probably not like being on that team. I want to be in a place that I enjoy talking with everyone and that place is San Jose.
