To say this has been an offseason of change for the Orange County Otters would be quite possibly the biggest understatement of league history. The team added not one, not even two, but THREE elite level free agents this offseason, and while already having one of the league's best rosters on paper last season, come into this one somehow looking way better. Their first signing was adding Tight End Heath Evans, formerly of the Arizona Outlaws, who is seen as one of, if not the best in the league at his position. He offers a fantastic receiving option for second season quarterback Suleiman Ramza. They then added Defensive Tackle Rotticus Scott, who joins an already fantastic Otters Defensive Line, and he will provide yet another scary presence to put pressure on opposition quarterbacks. Finally, amid bizarre circumstances they landed Cornerback Brandon Booker, who opted out of his Philadelphia Liberty contract following a miscommunication from management. He will bring a stable presence and with many good years ahead of him will be a fantastic addition to an already solid Orange County defensive unit. They also strengthened an offensive line which was lacking at times last season by converting Wide Receiver Future Trunks and Cornerback Lord Beerus to Offensive Lineman. They should give Ramza much needed protection and vastly improve the offensive output of the team as a result.

I mean, can one really improve on an already performance for the ages in game 2 of the prospect bowl? PickSix II showed why his genes carried over and as the absolute complete shutdown corner this league has been waiting for since the retirement of his father. Finishing the prospect bowl game with 3 interceptions, 1 forced fumble 1 fumble recovery would already go down as a huge accomplishment, but to add 5 pass defended and 4 tackles into the mix as well and you have a performance that will never be seen again.
How can you improve on greatness? There is simply no way, PickSix II either has already peaked, in which case the Bondi Beach Buccs have their star shutdown corner which is unfair since that's all BBB seems to churn out of the league is superstar defensive backs, or he is bound for even greater glory. To think that in that prospect bowl game, PickSix II didn't even train. After 2 weeks of training, he's faster, more intelligent and has worked on being even more of a ball hawk by making sure he has sure steady hands that will make even great wide receivers envious. How has PickSix II improved over the off season? That's not the question you need to be asking, you need to be asking how Bondi Beach improved with the drafting of PickSix II. The answer? Tremendously. word counter : 234 ![]()
It is safe to say that for James Wilkinson, a lot has changed since the last time that he took the field!
It is now time for him to begin playing in his rookie season in the DSFL, after having played 4 games for the Portland Pythons at the end of last season. It was already a tough change for James to move across the country temporarily to play in Portland, but it is going to be even tougher for him to relocate all the way across the world to play for his new team! The Bondi Beach Buccaneers drafted James in the second round of the DSFL draft, and he has had a lot of fun getting to know his new teammates already. There are a lot of new players on the Buccaneers roster this season and James is hoping that he will have the chance to show the team why they made the right decision in drafting him! Moving all the way from South Carolina to the Southern Hemisphere is a big change for James and he will miss his friends and family a lot. It will also be an incredible opportunity for him and he cannot wait to embrace the change and begin playing in the DSFL! Total word count: 210 words!
This off-season was a pretty big change for Devonte Crook as he went from a small dorm room in the frozen tundra of Ann Arbor, Michigan to the sandy beaches of Tijuana, Mexico. As someone whose spent the majority of his life in the midwest, the weather has been a bit of a challenge for Crook to get use to but being able to visit the beach everyday after training camp is fun. The language barrier is a bit difficult to deal with but the team's got him an interpreter named Alejandro Garcia. Garcia was a former Goal Keeper for Fútbol Club Juárez in Liga MX. He actually was a member of the Mexican National Team for a few years before he retired and was hired by the Luchadores as a Player's assistant. Crook currently rents a small apartment in Cerro Colorad on top of a large hill. His house is quite old so it has it's own architectural charm. When it comes to the season, Crook doesn't know what to expect since his first season in the league. He knows that going to be a huge transation from College to Professional Football but he hopes that if he works hard enough in training camp and follows his coaches orders that he can turn himself into a Pro Bowl calliber play. He's sure of himself, he belives that he has all the physical tools to be a great a Luchador. It's just about his performance on the field.

After a second consecutive playoff appearance for the Chicago Butchers, I believe they are in a prime position to take the top seed in the NSFC and win the Ultimus. Aside from the team improving this can also be attributed to key losses by the Colorado Yeti and the Sarasota Sailfish, the two teams that finished ahead in the Butchers in the playoffs for the last two years. During the offseason the Yeti lost franchise QB Wolfie McDummy to retirement, and reigning MVP Dexter Banks II retired from Sarasota as well. With any luck, these two powerhouse teams will have a season of downtime to allow the Butchers to snag the conference title.
Perhaps the most notable change in the Chicago locker room is that the Butchers added a ton of beef to their offensive line, as the roster now boasts 5 human OL with the additions of star linemen Givussafare Rubbe and Julio Jones (along with a 6th OL, Alexander Franklin, waiting in the wings after being taken in the first round). On defense, the Butchers' only personnel change was to replace the retired safety Raphael D'Alcott with rookie sensation Damian Blackfyre, formerly of the Minnesota Grey Ducks. With a defensive unit that allowed the second-fewest points per game in the league last season seemingly improving, the championship window for the Butchers is firmly open. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

My player this season is making the transition from the Tijuana Luchadore team in the DSFL and becoming the starting right tackle of the New Orleans Second Line. For myself personally, this is a stepping stone into what I hope becomes an amazing career for myself, and I have been able to train and make my player better before he even touches the field tonight, doubling the amount of TPE put into my player. So I am hoping he will hit the ground running.
Now although I am now in the ISFL, I still am a war room member of Tijuana, so there is a lot of change that had happened over the offseason with them as well. Our call ups list ended up tacking our QB, RB, myself at OL, 3 CBs, 1 S, 1 DT, and 1 LB. So basically coming into the season we only had 9 starters on the entire team, most of which were on the defense. Going into the draft though we were able to have a really solid draft and retool our entire offense and filling out our defense, adding in 8 new starters to the team. We have now reached the point where many of the S25 rookies have been called up to the ISFL so the team is now going to be almost entirely new. This is emphasized even more by our GM Mithrandir stepping down and Tonzy joining SwankyPants as the GMs to lead us into a new direction and hopefully rebuild Tijuana and bring them to another championship.
