My first season in the DSFL wasn’t anything of what I expected. I was drafted in the third round by S28 Ultimimi runner up Tijuana Luchadors which was very exciting. I was hoping I would be able to go to a team that could use me as a pass catching weapon that would also give some support blocking.

The team found themselves in a hole early going 2-4 through the first 6 games of the season. The locker room was disappointed because with the near success they had the previous season, they were looking for revenge and a slow start was not something that was needed. After the first half of the season, we took a huge step forward winning the next 6 games in a row. This brought our record to an outstanding 8-4 and put us right where we wanted to be at the end of the season. After splitting a pair of games in the last two weeks, we were able to end the season with a 9-5 record and were on our way to the playoffs.

In the first round we matched up against The Dallas Birddogs who we split a two game series with in the regular season. After a hard fought battle we triumphed over them with a score of 26-13 and a chance to get our revenge with a second Ultimini appearance in two seasons. The matchup we found ourselves in was against the Minnesota Grey Ducks who we also split against in the regular season. The team had an outstanding season and were able to blank the Luchadors with a score of 40-0 and crushing the hopes of Tijuana fans all through the league. The team now has a chip on their shoulder as they are starting to be compared to the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League.

As for Rex Crenshaw’s rookie season, he couldn’t have asked to do much better with the opportunities that he was given. He started out slow only getting a few pass attempts per game and had a few clutch drops. But with determination and training, he was able to continue to grow and improve his self worth. He ended the season with 42 receptions and 313 yards. He was also able to haul in 2 touchdowns. Unfortunately he had 8 drops on the season but more than half came early in the year when he was still getting acclimated to the league. He hopes to make huge strides forward next season as he prepares to enter the ISFL draft.

16. 2.5 TPE

As I prepare for the S30 draft, I feel like a solid player to the team that I am being taken by. Rex Crenshaw won’t be the flashiest player in the field and he might not even make the Pro Bowl. But what he lacks in surprise factor he will make up for in consistency. Crenshaw is a player that will show up and train no matter what the coach is asking for. He works for his contract to be able to afford his gym membership and doesn’t complain when it happens. He also knows that this is a reason he will fall to the second or third round. It keeps him humble and hungry to win. He is the type of player that you are able to get late in a draft and will be able to contribute from day one. Lastly, he would like to apologize to all of the scouting teams that were not able to get a great response out of him or his agent. Unfortunately he had a friend moving and was preoccupied with that and too tired at the end of the day to be interviewed. I know that probably makes him slide down a few draft boards and make it seem like a few other teams have a slight advantage. I guess that is the advantage of drafting super early or waiting until the last minute.

8. The award that pepelegs would win for something off the field would be for his great charity regarding children with smol legs. The charity that Pepelegs has developed has put hundreds of dollars towards development for new surgeries and techniques to help develop the legs of children with smol legs. This charity has the ability to affect tens of people each year, a truly drastic change to the world. He started this charity when he attended smol legs university as a freshman when he realized that he was not the only member of the world to have smol leg syndrome as it has become to be called over the last few years. In actuality it seems that the disease is becoming more and more common, some of it, due to the distinct lack of leg training in gym bros, who have developed training protocols that suggest training legs is bad for your health, and that things such as squats are “bad for your knees bro”. Because of this, some of the charity work has begun to develop slogans and signs to help people with smol legs realize that leg training is in fact very good for you, and doing it right helps to strengthen the ligaments and tendons in the legs as well. I am sure the league would love to recognize pepelegs for his work on this charity that has become one of the charities that has a few people spending money on it. Increased work in charitable donations is a must in a professional league and awards for this are great for league publicity. Additionally pepelegs and his work on the smol legs charity is a great first application for this award, much better than other less effective things, like building houses for the homeless which affects thousands of people. Over the course of league history no one has worked to do more for people with smol legs than Pepelegs has and this needs to be noticed by the league with the awarding of the leagues new charitable donation award and should be done not only the recognize pepelegs for his great work, but as a fundamental shift in the leagues publicity message, to show that the league supports not just people with smol legs, but over time all of the great charites that people from the league work in and on. Someday we will have an actual award for this, but for now I will just award it to pepelegs myself.

9. Comish for a day would be the ideal scenario for me. Some of the shit the league has done is horrendous and needs to be fixed asap. The first is something that I have been on since I first started in the league, and that is the poor representation and poor use of kickers in the league. Apparently HO isn’t letting kickers kick on first down unless “necessary” which is a fucking joke since this is an actual strategy that has been used. Additionally first down punts, why cant we use these? This has been a field position strategy that has been used since 1939 when Texas Tech and Centenary punted back and forth on first down to gain field position or to gain the ball on a muffed punt. Some say this is due to “the sim wont let us do it” and to that I say we need to choose a better sim. What a fucking joke this is. The league wants points and kicking on first down when you get into field goal range is a great way to do it. No one wants to see a team get into the red zone, stall out and then kick, just get it over with and get your shit offense off the field for the real stars of the league. Also on special teams we need to make long snappers a thing. I want to gain extra money from my team for being the best long snapper, but apparently again this isn’t  a thing that you can do. The league needs to fix this ASAP, long snappers are a fundamental position on the filed that is completely underutilized in the sim. Again “the sim wont let us do it” is a horrible excuse, find a new fucking sim that values special teams and not the shit positions on defense and offense. These are the fundamental changes that I would use to help fix the league. The other things are increasing the value of human OL by increasing the cost for a Bot OL. We need greater representation of the blocky boys and this is a great way to increase how they are valued. In real football, we see linemen going early in the draft because they are highly valued as asset protection, that isn’t the case in a sim, but we still need to find a way to increase their value so linemen start going top 5 and top 10 regularly in he draft.

S29 saw some fantastic defensive performances among defensive backs and the front seven alike. But few defensive players have as clear-cut a case for their positional award as Cuco Clemente of the Sarasota Sailfish has for Safety of the Year. Cuco had a stelar season, with far and away the most turnovers of any safety: 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery and 7 interceptions. Two of those resulted in defensive touchdowns. In fact, he led the entire league in interceptions on the season, netting larger numbers than more stat-rich positions like CB or LB. The next highest safety in terms of turnovers was Joel Drake of the Colorado Yeti with only 1 forced fumble and recovery, 5 interceptions, and again two defensive touchdowns.

While Cuco played less of a role in the run game and pass rush than other safeties given the defensive strategies of the Sailfish -- with only 2 sacks and 1 tackle for a loss registered this season -- he edged out his competition in terms of passes defended with 14. With the second-highest number of tackles (at 70), Cuco clearly made his presence known all over the field, providing support where it was most needed.

Finally, while positional awards are given out based on merit for on-field performance, it’s impossible to talk about Cuco without talking about his leadership and care off the field. He is a stalwart teammate that will be a fantastic ambassador for the league as Safety of the Year.


#26. Football is a game that has been going on for a while, loved by fans all over. But what if you were able to make some rule changes? Talk us through your new version of football, and what would be different and why?

Alright. I’m done being serious with these prompts so here it goes.

Being honest, American football is a sport primarily conceived by men, played by men, and enjoyed by men. So it’s only natural that historically the fan base has been predominantly male. And while female viewership for leagues like the NFL have been increasing steadily, in 2021 44% of males considered themselves “avid fans” of the NFL compared to only 16% of females (statista.com). Female participation in the ISFL has also been slowly increasing, but much could be done to change the game to appeal to a broader audience.

But why find a compromise when you could go to the other extreme and re-design the football game to cater primarily to female and other fans with a less “macho” persuasion. I propose to you the International Entertainment Football League (IEFL). While general scoring rules would stay roughly the same, the major changes to a traditional football game are as follows: 1) all uniforms will include assless chaps and 2) tackling will be replaced by tagging on the bare bottoms of opponents. This would likely reduce the number of catastrophic injuries among players, while still requiring significant athleticism and strategy to design and execute plays that protect the bottom of the ball carrier.

While I cannot speak for anyone other than myself, I have a sneaking suspicion that this might increase female fandom above 16%. Let the fun commence!

4. “Sim gonna sim” is a popular expression in the league. Write about teams that have been graced by the sim gods and had amazing performances despite statistical odds, and/or about teams that were considered favorites but may have dealt with some bad sim luck that hampered their efforts. How much of an impact did it have on their season(s)?  

I typically don't like to host  self-pity parties, but in the spirit of Ultimus week, I'm going to do it for the culture anyway! 

This season was a strong one for the Kansas City Coyotes. In fact, it was their best season we've had since my player was birthed into the DSFL. Finishing at a strong 8-5-1 record for the season, the Coyotes boasted a better record than their two consecutive 7-7 record seasons, making the playoffs in season 27 and missing them in season 28. This year however, Kansas City made big strides and were considered a strong contender for all 14 games (in my humble opinion). In classic ISFL and DSFL fashion though, this did not save the Coyotes from the classic "sim gonna sim" curse, which gave equal curse discrimination to all teams. 

This point task isn't about those other teams though (well, mostly), this is about the Kansas City Coyotes. 


At a 7-3-1 record, the Coyotes were determined to follow a strong home win against Portland in week 11 with another dub in week 12 at home against the (this season) lowly Bondi Beach Buccaneers. This Buccs were not having a great season to say the least as they would come into week 12 with a 1-10 record, leading Siege Cameron and the other Coyotes that this matchup would not be as stressful as the last. They were so wrong. Bondi Beach decided to, without difficulty, put up 28 unanswered points in the first half while shutting the Coyotes out completely until the third quarter. By then, it did not matter. The Buccaneers iced the game with another touchdown in the second half and won 35-21. We could not believe it. Bondi Beach only generated two turnovers so it wasn't gracious luck in that category by which they won this game, but by a miraculous offensive and defensive performance that nobody (not even the Buccs if I had to guess) saw coming. Needless to say, us Coyotes were not happy that our established strong offense and defense could not win this favored home game late in the season. Winning this game ultimately wouldn't have changed our place in the standings, but it still stung going into the finishing weeks of the season. That's right, we considered it a "sim gonna sim" game. 


Next up is the playoffs. Against the top seeded Minnesota Grey Ducks, they had just finished their 2-0 sweep against us in the regular season in week 14 so they were clearly the favorites, I have no disagreements with that whatsoever. BUT, we were still one win against them in the regular season away from taking the top seed from them, so it's not as if they were *heavy* favorites going into this game in my opinion. We were still a team with an all-around good offensive and defensive game. The sim did not care though. After an MVP-esque season from Gimmy Jarappolo where he boasted very few turnovers, the young and elite QB uncharacteristically threw for FIVE total interceptions by the end of this game, and the Grey Ducks would force and recover two more fumbles to add to their generated turnover count. 

I may be biased and bitter, but I still firmly stand that this game was an anomaly. You could say that the sim took this matchup simultaneously graced Minnesota with good fortune and cursed Kansas City with bad fortune considering how bad the loss actually was. There's no reason the Coyote offense should generate that many turnovers and then also hardly be able to gain any yards on offense without going 3 and out or having a drive-losing penalty on a gained first down. There's also no reason the Grey Ducks should've gotten away almost completely unscathed by turnovers against this strong Coyote defense coming into the playoffs. The Grey Ducks would (in my opinion) "sim gonna sim" their way into a huge 40-20 blowout win for their first round of the playoffs before ultimately winning the Ultimini this year (congratulations! [smh]). As for the impact this had on our season it obviously thwarted our Ultimini comeback win dream after S27's ending, but I can't say in good faith that the sim was the only thing that gave Minnesota the win in this matchup. 

With all of that being said, the Minnesota Grey Ducks clearly showed throughout their strong regular season and high scoring wins in the playoffs that they were the best team in the league. Even if the sim decided not to smite either of their opponents in the playoffs, they had all that it took and more to win all of those games and they obviously deserved every one. GGs to them and a non-joking congratulations to them for winning the the S29 'mini!

7. This task is exclusive to non-recreate rookies of the S30 class and later. In 400 words or more, how has your experience been in the league? Who have you met that has made your time here more fun, friendly, and exciting? Have you been satisfied with your player’s early start? What was it like being drafted for the first time? Do you have any comments or suggestions for the entire league that you think should be implemented?

I have had a great experience to this point in the league. I joined in May, shortly before the DSFL draft. Now that I am eligible for the ISFL draft, I am finally able to get the full experience and I love it. I think the biggest hole is that there didn’t seem to be a ton of support for brand new users who were not yet on a team. I struggled a lot during that time, and am very glad that I hung on.

Getting into the locker room was great. People were super friendly from the jump. One unique thing about our locker room in Norfolk (not sure if it is the same as others), is we have players who aren’t active on the roster, but were at some point. This adds a great element to everything and I have really enjoyed hearing from them and getting their advice whenever needed.

I am not too satisfied with my current player’s start statistically. I was the third on the depth chart but put up good stats in my opinion for the limited playing time. I hope to have a bigger impact on the field in the next season, and I think I will with some of the changes we will have with some players being called up. I will say, nothing is more exhilarating than scoring your first touchdown, or having a big gain late in a gain. Maybe it wouldn’t have been quite as exciting if my player was an every down player, but those moments really got me excited.

Being drafted was really exciting. I wasn’t sure if I would be drafted since I started so late but was yelled when I saw my draft pick. My wife gave me the worst glare ever at that moment and I think both she and I knew I was hooked.

Overall, I don’t have many comments or suggestions. I have really enjoyed my time here and have enjoyed learning about all the different layers that there are. I am getting more and more into media as I know see its importance so I am excited to see where that takes me in the future. I do think that one suggestion I would make would be to have a league job that pays for rookie mentors. I don’t know much about how league jobs work, but I think it would help with the growth of the league and help keep new users active. The rookie thread in itself is helpful but the threads can be super confusing so I think this would be a great position to have.

10. Write a short biography or story about your player.

Sal Ami is from a small town name Scranton in Pennsylvania. His parents are huge fans of mine meats, so when they found out that they were expecting a new baby, they knew they had to come up with something clever. With their last name being Ami, there was one name that stood above the rest. That is how Sal Ami was named. As a child, Sal dreamed of being a competitive eater or a professional athlete. His size and physical gifts from a young age made him the perfect football prospect. He was offered his first college scholarship at the age of 12.

Fast forward to present times, he recently finished his rookie season in the Developmental Simulation Football League. Drafted by the Norfolk Seawolves, Sal had a unique position as a rookie. He was drafted behind a number one pick at tight end and also one of the best returning players on the team who happened to also be a tight end. Sal knew early on this year that his true impact on the field would have to wait until his sophomore campaign.

Although playing time for Sal wasn’t consistent throughout the year, Sal did make an impact in his limited reps. He scored 3 touchdowns on the year, and had a few plays where a defender luckily tackled him inside the 5 yard line. Sal’s highlight real play for the year was a 66 yard catch and run.


Outside of the field, Sal has spent a lot of time off the field loving the local cuisine in Virginia. As mentioned at the beginning of this story, Sal’s parents were fans of fine meats, and Sal is a chip off the old block. Sal has become a local legend for his ability to eat. He has frequently shut down all you can eat buffets. Sal looks at those as challenges. Sal has considered inventing his own YELP style app for phones where he ranks the different food options at different buffets that he tries on his travels across the country. He hopes this can be an investment he lives off of in retirement.

In closing, Sal was more of a menace to buffet managers than to defensive coordinators his rookie year. With a year of experience under his belt, and the playbook in the process of being mastered, Sal is excited to see what kind of impact he can make in year 2.

10. Write a short biography or story about your player. This could include background about how they came to the ISFL and how they’ve done so far, a story about their role in an exciting game, or anything else related to their experience in the league.

There are a lot of games that Romulus could talk about as far as exciting games, his transition to the International Sim Football League was an easy one. His first season starting at safety he was able to hold his own and provide a lot of help as a box safety. His versatility in pass protection as well as the occasional edge threat made it so he could really fill a role in the Philadelphia Liberty that no one else could. The DSFL was a bit too simple for him, it felt like just barely a step above the collegiate level that he played at prior with Purdue, players were closer to his caliber, but not THAT close. The ISFL felt different, it felt right. He had players that could keep up with him, he was able to see coaches that adjusted to the opposing teams strategies, and used him at his natural position. The DSFL had him filling gaps on the team that only he could, but it wasn't his natural strong safety position that he wanted. His natural ability to exceed meant he could overcome that, but he felt much more comfortable playing aggressively at strong safety. His first game of preseason was exhilarating, he was able to get an interception, a sack and a forced fumble all in one game! He knew that he had a place in this league if he could have that kind of impact early on like this. His rookie season was solid, recording a decent stat line of 40 plus tackles, 4 interceptions, a forced fumble and a handful of sacks. He was outshined by fellow rookie Xavier Walls, but Walls got lucky. Defensive Player of the Year is coming Romulus Roman's way, and no one can stop him! He plans on continuing to work this offseason on that versatile position, the jack of all trades for the Liberty defense. He wants to be the first player to have 10+ sacks from the safety position, and solidify his chances at making the ISFL Hall of Fame. He is ready to go, and fired up after witnessing his teammate have more success than him in his first seasons. He feels Safety is an underrated position in the league, that it is often overlooked and incredibly underpaid. He wants to earn the right to be a member of the Liberty for the remainder of his career!

9. Through a random lottery drawing, you have been named the league's new commisioner for a day. Congrats! What improvements would you make to the league if you had the power to do whatever you wanted?

I think there is a few things I would change as commissioner in the International Sim Football League, but there is quite a bit more that I find is already incredibly successful. I think there are a ton of people that work incredibly hard to keep this league running, and have been pushing themselves past the breaking point for some in order to create a fun and exciting league atmosphere. I believe we do a good job in mentoring new players, and recruiting players to
the league to the best of our ability. It would be awesome to get more players obviously, but that isn't something that happens over night and I know first hand that we are looking in the right places to find new guys and gals to join the ranks. As far as things that I would like to see changed, I know it is a point of contention within the league, but I have to say it; Money is way too hard to earn, it can be pretty overwhelming to try and max earn as a new player, and obviously I know you don't have to. It's crazy to me that I get paid as a rookie 1.5 million dollars a year, just barely enough to afford ONE week's training for my rookie contract. Even more than that, people that have positions in the league should be able to afford equipment each season because they put in effort to help the league grow and expand. You shouldn't have to spend hours writing a 10,000 word essay in order to improve your player. I said a lot there about how the money works, but it is something that burns me out. I love my team and my player and all the new friends I have made in this league, but I get stressed out when I think I have to write an essay in order to afford equipment this season. I don't think people should be handed max earning by any means, I do want GREAT players and those that are here for fun to enjoy themselves and have separation based off of their effort, but it is something that I know has effected people joining the league, or leaving it. I am sure that many people have mentioned it, and there are pros and cons to both, but I do believe we would have less inactive players if they felt as though their players were improving with less effort on tasks outside the sim. That is what I would change if I had the opportunity to be the commissioner for the day.

25. Imagine your current position was not available to be picked when you created your player. What other position would you have picked, and why?

At the time i created my player i wasn't sure if i would be max earning. It is my first experience in sim leagues and i didn't know what to expect and how much work it would take to earn every single TPE. So i took the advice from a buddy in the league and didn't create as qb or rb. Those positions are not needed that much in the ISFL as there simply are not that many spots on the rosters available. I created as linebacker and i for myself thought that max earning was not that big of a deal (at least for me). If i would create Heinrich again, i would probably go with offense. I am not entirely sure which position, but i think i would go for a Offensive line. I know its not very popular as they don't get that sexy stats but i look from a whole other perspective. In creating on O-Line i could have played pretty much on every team. I would have better chances at an immediate call up to an ISFL roster and if wished could easily switch to any position needed. In that way i would be a dependable and reliable asset for any team out there.

14. Describe your player and/or team’s journey through this latest season. What were the highlights? What were the lower points? What might you have done differently? What are your expectations for next season?

The last season was a hard one for Honolulu. The team was struggling the last season already and going into the new year the signs all pointed to another tough season. With the retirement of their QB Chika Fujiwara everybody knew that he would be missed desperately. But the new QB Joliet Christ Jr. was already in line and took over from Chika. The season started quite bad for the Hahalua. They knew that the season would be not easy with a rookie QB taking over the team. The first 6 games in a row all were lost. The first win of the season in week 7 came against the New Orleans Second Line. Like the team also the performance of Heinrich Kackpoo left a lot to be desired. He didn’t manage to get back to his old form from the previous season at the start of the year. After week seven however Heinrich seemed to find his poise and started to produce solid numbers all over the stat line. Against New Orleans was a major contributor to the win with 2 sacks. In the back half of the season alone he managed to get to the opposing quarterback 10 times and even managed to get a pick. Overall he was able to bounce back and finish the season with a decent stat line. He one again managed to make over 100 tackles. Also he had 4 TFLs, defended 8 passes and got a pick, as well as 14 sacks. While he was not able to get to the same level he was playing at in the season before, he showed that he is able to pull himself out of the slump. Unfortunately Honolulu wasnt able to show the same quality. In the 16 games played they just managed to get away with 3 wins finishing last in their conference. After the brutal season Heinrich Kackpoo felt that it was time for a change. After the season he decided to exercise his contract option and look for a new team. At the press conference where he announced that he was leaving he seemed deflated but also determined. “I am grateful for the chance i got here with Honolulu and i will be missing all my former teammates. But I just felt that it was time for a change.” With that decision Heirnich Kackpoo went into Free Agency and soon after signed with the Sarasota Sailfish.

21. Now thats three seasons on the new sim. What are your thoughts? Do you think that it is better than DDSPF16?

Well, first thing first. Of course the UI is a bit more elegant and more modern. I mean, sure, it has to be updated with a new version. A drawback is, at least on the system I am running, that it tends to be a bit slower than the old version. I mean, it is not that big of a deal, but definitely noticable. Another difference is the now limited possibility of testing. To me, this is not really a drawback. I think that testing got a bit out of hand. I get it… every team wants to be competitive and testing increases the chances for success greatly. On the other hand, i think with too much testing you can exploit some things in the sim quite a bit. Just look at the 79 speed quarterbacks in DDSPF16. I am sure that also in the new sim there are here and there mechanics that lead to similar exploits. At first we thought that in the new sim it is pretty much impossible without a huge amount of time invested to test to the same level as with DDSPF16. But I think that the users and the testers in this league will find a way to still manage to optimize testing.

16. This task is exclusive to recreate/non-recreate rookies of the S30 class and later. The season is over and the draft is coming up. What do you bring to a team, and why should a team choose to take a chance on you next season?

I think there's a  few  questions about me as a recreate because of the way I disappeared with my last player. Which is fair but I'd like to point out that Devonte Crook was a pretty solid player before I vanished. When it comes to what I bring to a team, it's mostly experience. I've written wiki articles, I've played and won fantasy, I've written media articles, I've made update threads, I have a twitter. Almost anything that you need to do to earn money or TPE in this league, I've done it before. I also have experience with other sim leagues so you can tell that I'm a sim league veteran.

As for why  a team should pick me, it depends. In the DSFL, I should be a pretty decent prospect. I won DSFL lineback of the year as Devonte Crook and I managed to max out in my second season. There's some questions to my long term dedication to the league but for a short time like in the DSFL? I think I'm a great pick. I might  not add a lot to the locker room but if you want a max player at running back, I'm a solid pick. So that's why I think I should   high on someone's draft board in the DSFL draft though I'm fine being drafted anywhere.

Remember when The Texas Rangers built an open air stadium in the middle of Texas? What a terrible idea that was. Arlington Ballpark lasted less then thirty years because building a non-air  condition building in the south is a terrible idea. Bondai beach might be in Australia but I'm going  to guess it gets pretty hot there. We need to  build more climate controlled sports stadiums. I don't want to get  political here but global warming is a thing. And I know that tradition is great and as a Steelers fan watching football games in the snow is great but I still think domes are a better idea for the long term enjoyment of your fans then an open air stadium. I'm also going to guess  that domes are louder on average ten most open air stadiums which gives dome teams a  much greater home crowd advantage then open air teams. There’s also fact that the field is far less vulnerable to the weather.  You’re not going to have any mushy swamp fields which  my Steelers have had to deal with a lot at Heinz Field. You don’t have to worry about that with a dome. Plus with modern technology, It’s possible to have a roof that retracts and closes so you don’t have to go full dome but having some sort of covering available for when you need it is advisable in my opinion.

It might cost a  bit more money but we’re talking about a billion dollar industry here, we should be able to afford some retractable roofs for our fields.

Lot Smith VIII is the seventh child born to Josiah and Marsha Smith.  His five brothers are Braxton, Elijah, Beckett, Isaiah and Jobe. His four sisters are Ada, Eliza, Roslyn and Madelyn. Braxton and Elijah are his youngest siblings as they are twins and the first childern of Josiah Smith. Roslyn and Madelyn are the youngest as they are also twins. Braxton  graduated from Yale with a degree in  economics, he's  thirteen years older than Lot. Elijah still works with his father in the church along with Jobe. They're the only two with actual positions in the church itself though all of the family attends reguarly. Beckett and Isaiah are both police officers in Floriada and Louisana respectively. Ada is a vetenarian and Eliza, Roslyn, and  Madelyn  are still in college. Eliza , Elijah, Jobe  and Ada  studied at BYU  along with Lot whereas Roslyn and Madelyn both attend the University Of Texas while Beckett and Isaiah never graduated college.

As well as his nine siblings, Lot has four nephews,  two nieces, four sister-in-laws and one brother-in-law.

By the time his football career had ended at Brigham Young University, Lot possessed the record for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.  A lot of experts  thought that had Lot played in a more prestigous  conference such as the Big Ten or PAC-12 that he would've gotten more serious consideration for a Heisman in either of his final two seasons  but since BYU is an  independent that that hurt his chances at the award considerably. It's also worth noting that  Lot Smith shares his june twenty-eighth birthday with Hall Of Fame Broncos quarterback John Elway, John Cusack and Elon Musk. He's a cancer in case you were wondering for some reason.

When not training or playing football, he likes saltwater fishing. He once caught a twenty pound dolphinfish at seventeen years old though his interest in fishing declined sharply when he moved to Utah for obvious reasons. Though it  did give him the oppurtinty to go back to archery in the off-season.  His favorite movie is Enemy at the gates. His favorite album  is I've always been crazy by Waylon Jennings is and his favorite book is  Hell, I was there by Elmer Keith.  His favorite meal is stone crabs and he owns an  Irish Setter named McClane after the main character of Die Hard.  His dream vacation location is  Hokkaido and  he's right-handed. And as a large number of Flordians are, he is a fantastic swimmer.

Task 9

I think one of the vastly untapped portions of the league is inherently iterative institutions in the league. Yeah I get it thats a buzzword that I made up but I'd find it hard to really cohese any of the ideas I have and I'm pretty sure the grader whos reading this right now is already skimming so I wanted to give him the warning for it. Basicaly ISFL as a brand isn't much beacuse its not used much outside of the explicit confines of the league. Even the subreddit is r/simulationfootball instead of r/ISFL. I had gaming communities within gaming communities that had their own Tags for various games and quasi-endorsement of these tags for use in various games. All this was more than a decade ago with communities with a tiny fraction that the ISFL has. A simple thing would be to have a tag and channel for league of legends or halo in ISFL general. People who don't have any other thing for their name can tag up with ISFL and play with other people in the league. people play dungeons and dragons on discord a lot in the league already and the league could just connect all these groups. I know a few Lockerrooms that have an active Football manager group. We have a channel for in general gaming but the toxicity of ISFL general has basically killed all the activity of the channel and the league squandered the time it had to establish these subcommunities during the pandemic but small retention things like this could be literally set up in a single day with almost completer deniability for the league. Along these lines I would also establish a "kayfabe rule" for various activities outside of the league. If a person finds someone else with an ISFL tag and the name of their player in the "wild" you must act and interact with them as if they are the player in the league. It would confuse the hell out of the people in the world and also be a lot of fun for the people who want to get involved with it. The real limiter to these kinds of questions is that you have to scale down the kinds of things you want to do because doing anything more than a day and getting past introducing yourself would probably take up half of that day at least. Getting things like a 3 letter version of ISFL, setting up a few discord channels, and setting a few culture things going forward would take a few hours at most.

Task 17

One thing I want to see from stadiums going forward is a much larger reliance on underground spaces for transport. Before the pandemic Barcelona football club was going to renovate its stadium and take away all the roads and gray spaces around its stadiums, to replace it all with trees and general greenery. Building light rail and a few bus stops for electric rapid transit bus's underground right under the stadium itself would solve a lot of the issues that stadiums face with moving people in and out of the place. One of the larger things that it would help out with is to make a giant presentation of going to the stadium. Not just in the underground space being extremely easy to remodel and refresh after every season but simply the visual of being brought out of the darkness and into the light of the stadium proper would be an incredible experience for all parties. Having a lot of greenspace around the stadium would cut down a lot on things like heating costs and would provide a lot of resources for recycaling water. Creating an underground storage space for water would be a pretty out there idea on the surface as they say but working with natural materials would make it a lot easier then it might seem. Dirt makes for a cheap and reliable filter and the massive surface area avaliable would make the logistics less difficult than I'd imagine.

I really don't like how volatile the sim is. Home field advantage was a thing in the old sim but it feels like sometimes that the TPE genuinely doesn't matter as the sim just artificially gives a value to each team and that value decides who wins and loses. We want some sort of upsets to happen to the league and for things not to be predictable but Chicago literally had 1k TPE plus players at every position in the secondary yet still gave up the most passing yards in the league. Sarasota had the Ultimus that the league felt had the least value because it was against teams that they were heavily favored against because they had lost multiple more games on the season than them. One thing I think is a lot better is the traits system. The meta for various builds in the league has stabilized recently but in those first couple seasons it was really all over the place. The DSFL had a massive speed nerf to it as all the other stats had actual value to it other than speed which was the only thing that mattered in the DSFL in the old sim. All the different things that have been changed with the presentation I think are at the least a net positive. If nothing else the league has seen a lot of changes to various things and change is good to some people I think.
