As reported early in the preseason, Dustin Evans hosted his first annual charity football camp for those low income children with talent and passion befitting a football player, but without the income to afford those expensive camps you'll find littering the classifieds and web ads.

At Underdog academy Evans and former colleagues from the Miami U would run drills with the kids, they would get the chance to take pictures with the players as well as the cheerleaders, too. Autographs were the final portion of the camp's week long stint. On the penultimate day of camp, there was a tournament held with seven-person teams to crown the champions.

Evans has been quoted as saying "I really hope to make this a yearly thing, ya' know? If-if everyone enjoyed themselves, and I think they did, hopefully they'll come back next year."

Perhaps now, with his first full season in the books and some chemistry built with his team, the Ultimus winning Outlaws, he'll be able to recruit a couple teammates to help out next year. I think it's safe to say that the kids will be ecstatic to meet some pros and the parents will be happy to hear that Evans has no plans to include an admission fee.

Extra life has been a great event for a while. It is a charity fundraiser that hopes to raise money for children's hospitals and to help kids heal through the power of games and play. The beautiful thing about Extra life is that 100% of the proceeds are given to the hospitals in question with many of the workers working hours and hours for free to give the most back to the kids.

The proceeds go to branches of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The event has gotten bigger and bigger every year, with many more people helping with live streams and other things to raise money. In 2016 9.6 million dollars were raised for children's hospital and we are all hoping that 2017 can be an even bigger success.

Kristoffer O'Sullivan will do a 24-hour live stream where he will answer questions from fans, do silly games and entertain. Some of his teammates might come by for an hour or two to add excitement. He will also do giveaways at the end of the 24 hours with a raffle for anyone who donated more than a grand during the event. Giveaways will include signed jerseys, helmets, autographs, shoes and gloves. Go get some authentic equipment and donate to help the kids!

Sarah: Hi there folks, I’m Sarah McLachlan, and while you probably remember me best from my ASPCA commercials today I’m here to talk about an equally important issue. Orange County Otters General Manager, and local legend, JBear was cruelly grounded by his mother for undisclosed reasons. Well, frankly, it broke my heart when I heard the news. And to make matters worse, the Otters players have been unable to get their nutrition from their primary source, Jbear’s breasts, and it has caused their growth to stunt. To further hammer home the gravity of this terrible situation I invited C.A. Chess, Generl Manager of the Arizona Outlaws, to say a few words.

C.A. Chess: Yes, thank you Sarah. Folks, I know I have a big game coming up against the Orange County Otters, but what I care more about than football is the livelihood of the Otters players. Without JBear to nurse from they are forced to fend in the wild for food of their own, something they are not able to do. In times of crises like these there is no time for divisions between Otters and Outlaws, we must raise $100 million dollars immediately to bribe Jbear’s mom to unground him once and for all so that the Otters players may get the breast milk they so desperately need. Thank you Sarah, and thank you to you the fans who I know will answer the philanthropic call.

Coming from a less privileged family is a familiar feeling to Paul DiMirio. DiMirio didn't have enough money to buy full-fledged football equipment as a child, so he stuck to backyard games. Once in High School, he yearned to be on the team, but the equipment was too much money for his struggling family. However, the starting QB came down with an injury, and there was nobody to back him up. DiMirio, who played QB often, filled in -- using the starter's equipment. If not for a stroke of luck and generosity, DiMirio would've been working an office job right now.

Paul wants to give back by hosting a neighborhood tournament (friendly style) among kids to foster athletic growth among less privileged kids. The money will go to scholarship funds for young ages across the country. DiMirio will also hold a camp before hand to raise more money and excitement in the game of football. Various events will be open to the community for spectating.

DiMirio's goal for this session is to raise $25,000 for kids around the country to be able to follow their dreams regardless of background. "I really think that money shouldn't be holding these young, talented, kids back from what they want to do," said DiMirio in a press conference yesterday. Excitement for the event, which will be held on numerous high school fields in Philly, with the finale being in Taco Bell stadium, has reached a fever pitch, making DiMirio thrilled. "I'm just glad that I can do what I love, these kids can do what they love, to allow other to do what they love.''

Blaster Blade is a rookie from the University of Texas. Growing up he never really had any financial problems or any major issues that went on in his life. He has lived a good life provided by his parents. He had an education, he went to the University of Texas, he just lived a life that was not surrounded by major problems. But he knows, that many families are not as fortunate as he was. He wants to help out the kids in his community, both in Colorado and Texas. So he started a charity called the Blade Fund. The money he receives combined with some of his own money, will be used to support families in need and also provide children with the education that they need. Life is not all about football he said. Football is a business and sometimes players just don't make the cut. At this event he will have food and drinks around for anyone that comes in and in the middle of the event he will have a speech about why he thinks the Blaster Fund is important and should be donated to. Blade will sign anything that anyone at the end of the event would like to be signed.

Charity? Stormblessed doesn't do charity. Unless you call banging Jayce Tucks sister - who happens to be named Charity - a part of charitable giving. She's like a solid six.

But as far as outside of the bedroom charity goes there isn't a whole lot to talk about. Stormblessed is involved in a few charitable efforts. He does plenty of work with the OADC - Organization for the Acquisition and Distribution of Cocaine (and Cocaine based products). Using his fame, fortune, and general good spirits, he is able to secure lower manufacturing costs and increase distribution.

In between football practices and games, Stormblessed has a soft spot for animals. He likes dogs and...well mostly just dogs. He is very active in the community, providing a safe Haven for stray dogs. He is a regular at the Las Vegas animal shelters, feeding the dogs and going during the week to make sure they go to good homes.

What else. Stormblessed has commandeered the cornerback improvement commune, or CIC for short. He funds training for cornerbacks so they can improve and actually give him a challenge for once.

I know. Pretty impressive all the charity work Stormblessed manages to fit in between football, but hey. That's what makes him an icon.

You've all watched the big fight. Yes McGregor lost but he put up an incredible fight, 10 rounds with arguably the best to ever do it? 50-0 eclipsing Marciano's previous record. Enough about Mayweather, this PT is about Lavelle and McGregor.

Following McGregor's defeat to money Mayweather, he has agreed to a charity boxing matchup versing the NSFL #1 pick Dermot Lavelle. Yellowknife Wraiths cornerback Lavelle confirmed the news earlier today via social media, a tweet which was later re-tweeted by McGregor himself.

The fight will take place infront of 51,700 in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin. All proceeds will be donated to Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Crumlin, a cause which is very dear to the Crumlin man himself McGregor.

McGregor who's experience include a professional MMA record of 21-3 and has been training since the age of 18 is a heavy favorite in the matchup. McGregor is the current holder of the UFC Lightweight Championship and former holder of the UFC Featherweight Championship.

Lavelle who currently is in his the 2nd year of his NSFL career has limited experience in any form of fighting. Lavelle holds an unofficial MMA record of 2 wins - 1 draw and 0 losses. Citing all three of his bouts have occurred outside of a nightclub in County Sligo during his college years. Lavelle claims both wins were against smaller opponents and the use of alcohol may have been a factor in the fights. His last most recent bout was ruled a draw following the intervention of local Gardai.
