Thank you all for coming today. I would like to formally announce my declaration for the NSFL/DSFL draft. It hurts that I will no longer be playing for the gators as I will forgo my last 2 years of eligibility for this once in a lifetime opportunity to show my skills at the professional level. Despite leaving early, I feel that I am nearly on par with other NSFL players and my adjustment period will be quick. Please ask any questions that you may have at this time.
(also, if you have any question pertaining to my absence during the past month, ask those here as well, but please specify who the question is for, Andre or sapp2013)

Quote:What happened to make you come back? You were worried about spending too much time here, I thought.Yes, my schedule was very hectic. I would go from 8am-11pm every day, bouncing from school, non-profit, Internship, and Tennis team with little breaks in between. My weekends were still decently free, but thats where I would catch up on anything IRL. I have figured out how to manage my time better, tennis is slowing down now that we are done with our 3 weeks of offseason coach practices, President of Non-profit actually knows what she is doing now and we are done training the newbies, school is still school and Internship is still work. It did have a bit to do with all of the shit going on early in the season (#EverythingGate) and with what little time I did have to spend here, I did not want to be dealing with all the shit talking on either end of it.
Quote:Do you feel you owe the Hawks anything for such an early retirement? It does suck that I ran out early, however, Vincent's contract was up at the end of S2 and I had not signed an extension. They knew my intentions as a player and knew there was a possibility that I would not re-sign. I felt I would be a bit disrespectful if I just disappeared for a month and came back, no updates in between, and still asked to be a part of the team despite missing a full season worth of development. I will touch on the subject in a later question as well. I do wish to be picked up by them in the future since the culture was just starting to heat up and I feel I missed out on a lot in that aspect. I won't hold out for them during the draft nor will I be a one-and-done to sign with them. If they want me to sign with them during a free agency period, they will need to work just like every other team, however, they may hold the tiebreaker if it comes to that.
Quote:Why haven't you just cancelled Vincent's retirement and stayed with your previous character with the TPE loss?I believe there is a rule about only un-retiring within a 72 hour period. Like I said earlier, it wouldnt be fair to the hawks that I would miss a full year of updates just to come back and ask for an extension. It was fully within Vincent's character to retire here and go onto bigger and better things. look for him to make a comeback in some fashion in a couple seasons. Vincent was going to stay a WR for his career, so I definitely would not have switched positions and if I created a 2nd WR, it may look like, as a user, that I was trying to escape the hawks, which clearly was nor is the case.
Quote:Are you just looking for a fresh start? Why CB?Kind of. I explained it a bit in the previous question, but I wanted to try something new and the character I wanted to create fits best with a CB build. I wanted to try my hand at a line position, but havent thought up a backstory or personality that would fit that position yet. with Vincent I wanted to be a DE because I was trying to create a character like myself, however that position was full at the time, and now that we have the DSFL and inactives, DE is a viable position, and I had to turn it down.
