However, I will point out that your initial point being 1 million over before stormblessed was traded is false.

They do not have Guard - Long for 500k or DT - Newenglander for 500k.

This means the total salary is 59 million. With cap penalties that brings it up to 61 million. Since they paid for the swap out of cap, it is at 65 mil which is fine instead of the alleged 66 mil which you've shown.


Still looking in to the other stuff.

I couldn't find anything regarding their S3 contracts, but both of them are on the Legion's roster in the index. Newenglander got $500k in S2, so I assumed it was the same for S3.

Yeah, we're going to continue to look in to it. Could be they weren't supposed to be on the index and it wasn't a budgeting mess up. Not really sure yet.

From my initial findings I believe they are still over the cap by 2 million when everything is said and done. I'm waiting on others for feedback though.

Some teams played over the cap in season 1/season 2 and their penalty was to simply cut players to get under the cap.

I did not look at anything besides this article, but would the ending total drop by $2 mil then, or was the $2 mil not accounted for earlier? I.e. tanners 2 mil should be paid already and only 4 mil extra should be paid after the bring up.

I did not account for this. So if true, then even with not counting Newenglander and Long, they were $2mil over week 1, and then $4mil over after calling Baker/Tanner up.

I was very careful in making sure we were under the cap with all things considered and we even made it under after there was a rule change in the amount DSFL absorbs AFTER we finalised Tanners contract which was a bit annoying.
You're right though, when Tanner was pulled up I forgot about the change in salaries that would make and failed to reflect that on this page. Just another problem with the whole DSFL system and introduction which was not fun for our team who just doesn't have the depth to be dropping down active players.
Since we were playing over the cap after calling Tanner up we can retroactively reduce contracts (with the consent of the player of course) to get under the cap, would that be fair to you? And @Ballerstorm?

Honestly, I just made this an article for the money and for Cushing to possibly get a way out if he wanted to. The content inside is true though. In the Discord, I said I don't even think LV should be penalized. I stand by that.
