Paul DiMirio knows what he's going to do to get better, and it's not blocking despite what most would think. The star TE filled in a chip-blocking role, especially when he was split every which way, spending the majority of snaps in the slot where he abused small slot corners. He is trying to expand his route tree. Last year he tried out some double moves with great success, and this year he hopes to master his stutter steps and post routes. Another thing is to work on coming out of a jet sweep and breaking into a route, something which DiMirio proved incapable at, causing the Liberty to have to close down their playbook a little bit. Now they've had great success, with Clifford Rove finding his stride and leading the league in passing TDs. DiMirio has even taken carries from the jet sweep in practice and the high school QB hopes that he will be given the option to pass the ball sometime.
