Always love seeing GMs thoughts on the draft and on the prospects! Maybe I’ll do a shorter version myself...

I agree with you 100% on the Roenick situation. Breaks my heart that not even one of the best prospects activity-wise that I can remember can’t play the position that he wants to, but I get it from the Hawks GMs perspective

Honestly, I didn't set out to write an article this long. It just sort of happened. Maybe 3 rounds was taking on more than I realized. haha.

As for Roenick, it's heartbreaking, but they're a play-off-caliber team and they're doing what they have to do to make that push. I just hope that Roenick enjoys his new role and stays active.
