Of the few new faces that we have in the Baltimore Hawks locker room, Alexandre LeClair is most excited with the presence of Auston Roenick (@Leafer) as he takes on a similar journey into the big leagues as he himself took back in Season 1. Both players, came into the NSFL draft as quarterbacks and had aspirations to crack a team’s opening night roster in that position. Both ended up changing their role. It is common knowledge that LeClair had a successful transition from quarterback to wide receiver and is now regarded among the best in his role. For Roenick, he chose to become a linebacker instead. It will be most interesting how quickly he will be able to adapt to his new position and contribute in stopping the opposing receivers. With a strong season in the DSFL, one can think that he should be able to transition smoothly as he showcased his strength and athleticism in a role not associated with these skills.

Outside of the NSFL draft, it has been a fairly quiet off-season for the Hawks, and the other addition, Noah Goodson (@toivo and also a linebacker) should be able to immediately reinforce a defensive secondary that was lacking last season.
