*Ryan Applehort Releases Statement

After the San Antonio Marshals hit the field in the practice leading up to Weeks 6 and 7, observers noted that Mike Vick seemed to be practicing over Ryan Applehort in the lineup. When reporters asked coaching staff if that meant they had acquiesced to Applehort's public statements asked to be QB #2, staff were adamant that they were going to do whatever was best for the team, period. If that meant letting Applehort get some rest, sources said it was something that management were seriously considering. By all appearances, Applehort will get his wish and play behind Vick in the coming two games.
