Let say, in a perfect sim engine, the teams that game plan the most and have the most TPE win the most games? Well, I think the leagues use just a little broken sim engines in order to create the illusion that "anything can happen". This makes people in the sim leagues think that there's a chance at playoffs, even though they shouldn't have one.
