Frustrations do not come up a lot in Orange County these days. If this were years ago, there would be a cornucopia of frustrations with the team, but now it appears any complaints would be seen as grasping at straws. There is of course one frustration growing on the team this year: father time. Is it possible that the Otters dynasty can continue on for the next 5-6 years? Or are we witnessing the collapse of the Otter-Man Empire? (heh) There has been some frustration amongst team members over the dedication of QB Mike Boss. Boss, who of course has had a roller-coaster of a career, seems to finally be playing well enough to be trusted by the fan base. Boss has slowed down a bit from a couple of years ago, and some teammates are wondering if the age factor will be more significant for their QB than for everyone else. Orange County has a talented team with great players at the skill positions, but if Boss finds a way to revert back to his old-self, the team will be in trouble. This frustration has caused the team to begin looking into replacement options for their not always dependable QB. Will Boss step up his game? Or will the frustrations drive him to finding a new home?
