Written: Must include 200 words. There have been a lot of situations that could play out differently, situations that if one thing changes the whole league goes in a much different direction. Write about one of these situations.
One moment that sticks in the back of my head is what would have happened if Bubba Nuck continued his tear throughout the NSFL, the same way that he did in his younger days, most notably S1 and S2.
Nuck's name was on the lips of everybody not caught up in the Offensive Line era sa we will call it which focused much of the leagues attention on the pancake and sacks allowed of many top tier offensive lineman, the quality of which we have never seen again and are likely to never see again in the leagues future.
Nuck was on par for what many would have hoped would be his premier season in S3, alas it didn't work out that way. Combined with the resurgence of diamond in the rough talent, Eric Kennedy, rumors began circulating that "Nuck" had lose the love for the game, was missing practices and game film time, supposedly had interests in an SHL career as opposed to the NSFL. Yellowknife's front office scrambled to address the claims but fell flat on it's face, as a result Nuck did remain on their team until S6, but a shadow of himself.
I guess that's the way the potato crumbles.
