Ummm I don't know really. I honestly have a terrible memory and can't recall anything super spooky happening in my life. It's kind of a blessing and a curse really, cuz I never really get too mad about stuff that happened before cuz I really just can't remember, I just don't give a shit. So I kinda take everything in stride and am generally very laid back and forgiving. But then the downside, I can't remember shit. Oh well.
I guess I'll make up a story. As some people know I work for da gubbamint doing lots of cool shit. Actually it's not that cool, I'm just a code monkey, but I do have basically 100% control of all my projects which is very nice. So, I can kinda do stuff how I want as long as it works well. Anyway, I was coding away and staying late to try and get something to work properly. I just finished it and hit compile, the usual 900 warnings popped up, but no errors. Great, I thought. It will compile and those warnings can go fuck themselves. So it succeeded and I started the program. Everything was working fine until I clicked a button in the GUI and it would crash immediately. I scoured the code for the culprit, not finding anything. I went through line by line and found it. A missing semicolon. But how did it compile? This isn't some bullshit like python, this is C++ a man's language. The answer was clear, the compiler let it go just to haunt me.
