It always pains me when someone talks about Fitzgerald in a different tier than Johnson. I think the two were very similar, but Fitzgerald was in a much better environment. As a result, he stayed in it longer whereas Johnson dropped off the map.
Both were drafted 3rd overall, one season apart, to teams with shitty QBs and bad records for almost the entire career.
