Chad Pennington loves the team how it is and could barely even think of making any changes to do it. This is the team he wants to win the Ultimini with. However, if he were forced to pick someone to snag from another team, he wouldn't base it off of talent (though the player in mind is very talented at his position), he'd base it off of friendship.
The player in mind if none other than the kicker Beat Meoff. Chad and Beat have known each other for a long time. Before the S7 DSFL draft the talked to each other about the NSFL a lot. Now they still talked, but they do things like work out together and play video games together. With how skilled Meoff is, it seems unlikely that they'd ever come together in Tijuana as the Luchadores may be unwilling to part with what it would take to get him. Additionally, the Coyotes would probably be unwilling to part with what it would take to get Pennington, as it would also require them to get Brad and Thad Pennington (as Chad would not be willing to play against the Luchadores while they are still on the team). So it seems like this is nothing more than a pipe dream. But there's nothing wrong with dreaming, is there?
