Cameron Taylor's first job was a stock room boy at a local grocery store. He didn't see many customers, nor did customers see much of him. He kept quiet, lifted boxes, pushed carts, swept floors. You know, for minimum wage, it wasn't the worst job in the world for a young high school kid. Taylor kept active with all the lifting, kept busy, and even made some good friends. Lots of his classmates were off at the beach, or doing camps, but Taylor was making that sweet cash and was secretly learning some discipline in life. Much like football, hard work will pay off, and you get rewarded for what you put into the task. Soon enough, when kids wanted to start buying cool things in high school, Taylor could actually afford it. His class mates couldn't. Having the discipline from work also led Cameron to always show up on time for football and hockey practice, stay dedicated to his school work and workout schedule and to learn some good work ethic. All paid off in the end and it was a much more valuable experience then just the minimum wage.
