Angus Winchester grew up on a farm, so he was naturally working from a very young age, for free. At the earliest of ages he was used for small tasks, like collecting the eggs from the henhouse in the morning. Although once he started growing, which he did very quickly, he was able to start handling a lot more of the physically demanding work that farm life brings. Angus credits the physicality of farm work that he did every day along with the copious amounts of food and milk his grandmother kept him fed with that built him into the athlete that he is today. Eventually when he was old enough he was able to do some of the more difficult tasks that didn't require his body as much, like driving the tractor. But when it came time to repair the tractor or change the tire, the Winchester menn were all the more grateful for the strength they had cultivated in themselves from such a young age. Now as a grown man and professional football player in the prime of his career, Angus still spends time on his own ranch in northern california where he raises sheep and goats.
