The first job Chad Pennington had was at a coffee shop in New York. To be honest he wasn't trying very hard to make to much money. All of his free time was spent training for football and studying to get into Syracuse with his brothers. Eventually it turned into less of a job and more of a place for Chad and his buddies to meet up at so they could hang out when he was done working.
By the time it came around for college applications to be sent out he had already quit. There wasn't much point in him spending his time dishing out coffee to people when he had interviews to do with coaches, weights to lift and video to watch of his previous games. During the summers in college he'd put in extra hours just to get some extra spending cash for during the school since school year.
