Verso L'Alto has from a very young age had an interest in sports of all kinds and would do anything to be a part of the game. During the summers he would just hang out outside the local AAA minor league baseball stadium in hopes of catching some of the action--maybe even a home run ball. Sometimes his friends would go with him, but most of the time he would be alone. This led him to reach out to others and learn to build relationships. This suited him just fine for several years until the summer of his 8th grade year when he was approached by the stadium manager asking if he would like to be a ball boy for the team. L'Alto could not believe his little freckled ears, he was so excited. He made the most of this opportunity and connected himself with everyone he could. This job ended up leading him to a job as a ball boy for the Detroit Pistons throughout high school where he eventually met a scout for Michigan State Basketball. The rest was history.
