So to summarize:

1) You state a preference
2) People disagree
3) You respond with "this is how it goes in x other leagues over x years"

TL;DR - your disregard for people explicitly giving you evidence to the contrary (by stating that they would be discouraged as a new user in a league which offers carryover TPE) implies that you are in fact the one "set in their ways"

There's been great points on both sides. Kendrick's experience is of value in this discussion. I just really don't want to see great discussion derailed in what is becoming an unproductive fight.

FWIW, I was discouraged by SBA's carryover TPE, but did still give it a chance. I can't say it was one of the major reasons I quit.
