Ever since declaring for the DSFL draft, my family and friends have been planning a viewing party to watch the draft. I've decided to stay in my hometown instead of going to the draft because I want to be around the people who helped me get here. Also, I also did enjoy when a prospect gets the call from the team and they get mobbed by everyone.
My parents decided to hold the party at our humble abode. We want to make it a whole day event to make the most of it, so we're going to invite all of our friends and family over. During the day we're going to have the pool open, bbq firing all day, and the drinks will be flowing. It's going to be a classic cookout. As we get closer to draft time, we're going to assemble into the house and have the viewing all set up for everyone to see. I'm going to have my phone charged, my parents by my side, and sitting right in the middle of everyone. When I get the call, and hopefully it's early in the night, I can't wait to embrace with everyone and start this new journey in my career.
