Unfortunately for me, I missed the DSFL draft, which no doubt I would have been likely doing the same thing as for the NSFL draft - having a cigar and drinking bourbon. That is how I spent my NSFL draft, with a few close friends from college, with my family, and some Pythons guys who were in town and wanted to celebrate as well! We had 8 large pizzas of all kinds, including my two favorites, Buffalo chicken pizza and Hawaiian pizza! We had 250 wings, with 4 different sauces and blue cheese and ranch. We had meatball subs as well!
For drinks we had various bourbons, but I was sipping on Jefferson's Ocean bourbon, which is awesome. Had plenty of local craft beer to boot. For cigars we had my favorite, Illusione Epernay! It was a great night aside from a minor hiccup, but we're all over that now.
If I had to give the DSFL and NSFL rookies attending, or being involved in their own draft is to:
1: Have good company. Get people close to you and enjoy a great night.
2: Have lots of food! You don't want to get hungry!
3: Have great drinks! You want to have a nice buzz!
4: Enjoy it and take your time processing things.
