(S8) - PT 1 - Draft Party

Going into the Season 3 Draft, I had no idea what to expect. Having talked to a couple teams including the San Jose Sabercats and Arizona Outlaws, I had no idea what was going to happen. I definitely took my friends and family to the draft party which we had a great party at the hotel before and after being drafted. I had no idea what to expect. I could hear my name called early, I could be waiting for a bit to even hear my name called. Once the third pick came up, with the third pick in the Season 3 NSFL Draft, the San Jose Sabercats select.. Benson Bayley, LSU. There was nothing but elation on my face. I was so happy to be picked by a fantastic franchise. I knew I was joining a team that I would have to sit behind John Canton, but there was a lot to learn. I knew this was the place for me. After that, my mom was so psyched that we were going to be moving and for my future. I hugged her first with one of my best friends sitting by my side. They all were so happy. This was my draft party, I could not have had better company.
