Obviously, I am rooting hard for Kevin Fitzpatrick. Due to the early start of the DSFL season, he definitely won’t be shattering any records his first year, but he should improve very quickly and play well over the final 12 games. Fitzpatrick already had the opportunity to prove that avoiding mistakes could make up for quite a bit of production, but now that he’s had most of an offseason to prepare, he’ll be out there actually leading an offense. To make his DSFL career even more exciting, he’ll have another highly touted prospect to compete against, Gus TT Showbiz, playing for Kansas City. Both QBs are expected to spend 2 years in the DSFL before being called up to the Liberty and Otters, respectively, playing in separate conferences in both leagues. I think Fitzpatrick will have the more successful DSFL career of the two, having had something of a head start. Despite his lack of throwing prowess, being the better athlete will make him more exciting.
