(S8) - PT 1 - Draft Party

Angus Winchester's draft party was a fun event. Back during the inaugural draft of the NSFL he was still an offensive lineman and had widely been projected to be drafted in the first few rounds as one of the first offensive linemen off the board. Sitting at his grandparent's home in Tennessee the Wisconsin graduate was doing it big with family and friends and a huge barbecue spread. The Winchesters are large men who are known for their ability to eat and in Eastern Tennessee they know how to cook a pig.

So the Winchesters invited a good 40 people there and cooked a whole pig on the barbecue pit his grandfather had welded. In addition to the pork orgy they had from the whole pig that had been smoked for 12 hours they had a massive spread of southern fixins. Cole slaw, collard greens, baked beans, mac and cheese, potato salad, french fries, onion rings, chicken wings, you get the point. Top it off with the keg of beer they bought the day before and a nice selection of bourbons from the Winchester collection and it was a party to be remembered. When Angus was selected in the 5th round to Orange County the whole place erupted and the party lasted all night.
