Today, I’m writing about something new for Eric Kennedy, but not something that he’s facing right now. Rather, something that he faces last season. After spending years building up a reputation as a receiving running back, Kennedy finally took the plunge and made a full position change to wide receiver, leaving his days as a rusher behind him. He never stood out for his work on the field as a rusher, but Kennedy possessed natural receiving talent that made many NSFL officials question if he was simply miscast during his pre-NSFL days. Kennedy himself was the biggest critic of this change and fought against it for years despite recommendations from people close to him, but in S7, he finally he made the switch and he hasn’t looked back since. Change can be scary, but this one has left a promising player with a new lease on a life and an opportunity to finally cement himself as one of the top offensive players in the league.
