Now that the Orange County Otters have completed preseason, we are on the brink of the NSFL inaugural season opener! Everyone in the locker room is very excited about the season opener and have been practicing and training to get that all important win to start off the season on a good note. The Otters and Bradley Westfield were very optimistic about their playoffs chances this season after their 2-2 preseason debut. The preseason record shows 50% but the information that they gathered on their players, schemes, and playbook is invaluable. Now that everything in place to succeed for the Otters they look to get their best foot forward with a win. Westfield said in an interview “I had to leave my family back at home in Buffalo while I traveled to the team’s training facilities. Right now my focus is playoffs and getting the team there. I love what I see from the team already and hope we can take it all the way!” In another interview with an old coach of Westfield’s Tim Nora he said “Playoffs? Don’t talk about — playoffs? You kidding me? Playoffs? I just hope we can win a game!” So we have both sides of the story, cautiously optimistic and overly optimistic. We will see… but until then, I’m otter here. (Pun intended.)
